Given the 3+ decades of Clinton’s delay, deny, obfuscate and lie, I too am VERY READY for this ride to be over. I just don’t want to see what 4 years of shrillary could bring!

“Scrofulous”. Thank you. Love that word, I’ve used it myself on rare occasion.

      • August 28, 2016 at 5:42 pm

How about ‘scabrous’ or even plain old ‘necrotic?

      • August 28, 2016 at 12:49 am

Please be so kind as to not insult pit vipers; scrofulous or otherwise.

That filth is lower than any snake, even it of Original Sin, as what did it do but to reveal good and evil?

Whereas she is the very manifestation of evil, lower than anything but Beelzebub itself. But I repeat myself.

It is true that pit vipers provide a needed service by keeping vermin under control and they are being true to their nature.

She is against nature, and would even be rejected by the Asylum of the Daleks as too dangerous.

Couldn’t decide which comment to make. So I’ll do both.

“Are we there yet?” Where? Exactly.

    Or

    “Are we there yet?” Almost.

Blair (Orwell’s real name) called it that because it was published in 1948; the title is just that year with the last two digits reversed. He was describing the way much of the world was run at that time, specifically the USSR.

Practically every feature of his oppressive state had a real-world counterpart at that time; yes, even the Anti-Sex League, that he based on some of the more fanatical “evangelical” sects in the U.S. plus the eugenics movement.

Not long before his death 18 months after it was published, he commented that while he intended it as a warning, entirely too many politicians saw it as a useful How-To book.

I wish he had lived to see what 1984 had truly brought; that his warnings had not fallen on deaf ears but on a pure and patriotic heart, a will and determination to prove the prophecy wrong.

And I’m glad he didn’t live to see how determined the powers and the proles were to prove it right, seeing the 80’s as just a speed bump in their race to their perfect world and an end to ours.

As Ozy says, he got the year wrong as 36 years from the prediction we were given another chance. But it’s not the only thing he got wrong; 36 years from then in 2020, I fear that the other thing that will be proven wrong is that the prediction was not nearly dark enough.

Since libturds have been trying to make the Constitution a living document, these next four years of shrillary cankles will murder this document.(and it is NOT a mistake as the libturds do it).
Then when that happens watch where the missiles fly from to hit the United States.

The sociopath Hillary has been on her path since close contact with her mentor Saul Alinsky in 1968.

Hillary hates the USA and has planned her gaining power and control for decades. That anyone cannot see that shows that people will blind themselves to all they do not want to see.
