The opening shots of CWII may well be fired at your local EPA office. There are a lot of us living in the mountains and other rural places who rely upon wood for heat. The commies who run Oregon are the reason my wife and I left that state, in spite of its natural beauty and Pacific coastline.
Ban wood stoves that people depend on to survive. I have a whole bunch of “little friends” who might like to discuss this with them.

The comments are entertaining. One claims the EPA regs don’t apply to older stoves, but they also leave the field open for an environmental or ‘social justice” group to file a sweetheart lawsuit to force the regs to be applied more “extensively”.
This is EPA saying “We aren’t doing it, they’re forcing us to”- and they and the deep-ecos are busy slapping each other on the back for putting one over on the “oppressors of Gaia” yet again.
Their definition of an “enemy of Gaia”? Any human being other than themselves.
The commenters who tell everybody else that this is “social justice” and that they can suck it up or else, in the name of those enlightened types’ “quality of life”, are a perfect illustration of the arrogance and ignorance of modern progressivism. My guess is that these people aren’t interested in making cheap, reliable rocket stoves for poor villagers in the Sudan. Oh, heavens, NO- that would be increasing air pollution.
The overall attitude of the progressive crowd was well illustrated by Tom Clancy’s novel Rainbow Six. “We are the only ones who matter, and we no longer need you or your evil ‘civilization’. Do us, the elite’, a favor- die already.”
I’m wondering if Skye would be “down” with that. Or if the thought of the consequences would even occur to her.

We Trekkies have such a wealth of comebacks to choose from;
“The purpose of diplomacy is to prolong a crisis”.
“Diplomacy and bureaucracy use different methods, but they achieve approximately the same results.”
-Spock, “The Mark of Gideon”
“The best ‘diplomat’ I know is a fully-activated phaser bank.”

I would tell Skye, “Wish in one hand, shit in the other. See which fills up first.” Respect is earned, and is also a two way street. So far, Skye (and all other died in the wool libtards) deserve none.
Always superb, Chris. You hit so much just dead nuts on!

I finally remember the quote I’ve been looking for. It seems especially apt with reference to Skye. From that great musician and philosopher, Frank Zappa;
“Do you love it, do you hate it,
Here it is, the way you made it.”
Chris, feel free to use this in any future comics (as if I have the right to give permission – snerk!).
