I WISH that a Higher Power would en-darken the District of Criminals. They’re already benighted, so they’ve got that head start. If DC loses power (literally and/or figuratively), that city would de-populate so fast, it would make Walking Dead seem like slo-mo. With just as much political infection of the rest of the country.

I wonder if shutting down all of those zero pollution (CO2 is not pollution nor a greenhouse gas as the First Church of Al Gore, Reformed scientists say) coal fueled electrical power plants was involved in that bit of darkness. The ability of the grid to handle stress has been reduced by the reduced capacity due to the closing of coal powered electrical plants as Obama had said he would do many years ago. His obedient and rabid EPA executed the plants by self executing new regulations that were supposedly ‘common sense’ to the people who support Obama.
(This hurts). I agree with Cheney’s conclusion he recently was reported on about Obama and the actions he takes conforming to someone who would take down the nation.
I support people based on a comparative scale of who would I be supporting if I were did not get involved. It usually is very bad if one is not involved. The sooner in a process you make effort, the more likely one can exert an influence on who is the final candidate. Obama is the candidate we got when too many people walked away in proper and just disgust. The walking away part should only be done after using your vote. What you buy is also a vote in many ways.
Have we reached de Tocqueville’s point where the cities have become like Europe’s and the corruption is close to overwhelming what is America?
Everyone acting as we are and we will outnumber “them” so that they cannot control who we are.
Indeed, co2 is what feeds the trees to produce the oxygen we breathe. These people are the very idiots an oxygen shortage would be valuable for.

They are roughly evenly divided between those who have never heard of the TANSTAAFL Rule or the Law of Unintended Consequences (and thus can’t connect decreased generating capacity with power outrages), and those who worship at the altar of Holy Mother Gaia (who see such a result as a desirable first step toward a “post-technological” Utopia operating rather like ancient Sumeria- with themselves as the philosopher-kings).
Neither element is in very close contact with reality. But both have the power to enact their dogmas in the real world.
There are few things more potentially deadly than a delusional primitivist “idealist” with power.

That would also conform to the few US Supreme Court decisions reached over 100 years ago.
We give (give) gratuitous citizenship to people born here. The 14th Amendment language interpreted as the writers of it intended would not grant such citizenship unless the parents were our citizens. So I say it should be interpreted as the US Supreme Court has not yet interpreted that exactly on point. It has tended in that direction, yet the issue has not been presented to it in a very long time. The 14th amendment follows that concept. it has not been interpreted except as the writers intended to ensure the Democrats would not reject blacks as citizens in various states as the blacks had been subject to US jurisdiction while being born in the US jurisdiction. The amendment assured that there was no doubt about their citizenship.
A law defining the constitutional situation would do wonders to end the excuse Obama uses to draw in millions to aid in his transforming the US into the rest of the world.
We should adopt similar to Mexican laws in these areas so that when a person and their later born children cross into the USA they gain no legal advantages, and, must leave.
As far as I am concerned, they will leave.
The USA is being drained (ala the Cloward-Piven Strategy taught at Columbia while Obama is said to have attended classes there.) by asserting all means to suck wealth out of it. I had e a progressive married to a cousin who helped NYC get drained during Mayor Dinkin’s era. Add to it the jobs sucked out and that since 2000 we moved from over 30% of world GDP to close to 20% of world GDP.
The point is gratuitous birthright citizenship must end. Adopting Mexico’s laws in this area would do that.
That lure must be ended.

You are, of course, entitled to your own opinion (with which I happen to agree), but you are not entitled to your own facts. The fact of the matter is that any baby born in the United States, regardless of the citizenship of its parents, is automatically a natural-born American citizen.
