When I want to make an impression on a liberal, I give them a copy of Bill’s Tribes essay. I usually makes them a little sheepish. Now in the breaking news department, Bibi is disagreeing with the Iran deal and I would bet my bottom dollar that the 12 tribes of Israel will not sit idly by while their demise is being planned. Let it be known here that I, a Roman Catholic Sicilian, stand with Israel.
Growing up in the Bronx and spending summers at an AMVETS post my parents belonged to you would occasionally late on a Saturday night hear the veterans whisper about their war and their loudest silences would come when the two who liberated the camps in eastern Europe would speak in half sentences and bear witness to the evil that men can do to men. They were boys when the die was cast for the horrors to follow but in their fading youth they always asked how that could have come to be. Resolute they were in never letting the evil triumph again but the evil knew that all it had to do was wait and they would be dust, no longer ready to shine the light of truth.
Well the waiting seems to be over as the greatest generation fades and the lessons learned were not passed, that the baby boom teachers molded a new reality of skittle shitting unicorns and fairy dust. But there are still enough of us who heard the witness to the horror to stand against evil. The Oath Keepers, the Three percenters, the quiet patriots the time is nigh to speak against evil.

Speaking and acting are here with us now. Uncle Max did not enlighten enough Germans as to what was happening. Whitfield did not succeed in all he wished to do in pre revolutionary America, but he had an effect that helped. I sometimes have a big mouth. But I will have to wait to see if it was loud and concise enough. All do the little we can do. Sometimes an idea hits dead on and spreads or does great good. Keep spreading ideas.

A past girlfriend had no clue that the Bearded Clams had any other meaning than all of the guys with beards and that it was the name on the logo of their T shirt. She published them on the cover of a Fortune 500 management newsletter she was editor of, with the civic group made up of their local employees. She was a Baptist and a very nice person. Her boss called her in and she literally went red with embarrassment upon him explaining. Not all people play with the double meanings.
