I used to get the paper every day and read it through and through…compared to most the Tampa Tribune is not totally in the tank for the progs. But of course print media got their lunch eaten by the web and I started get my news there, just taking the Sunday paper, mostly for the comics and the sale papers for my wife.
Now DBD is my every day comics/editorials source, and just like the papers, Sunday is bonus day, and I can enjoy it without my blood pressure peaking or considering tracking down G. Trudeau and torturing him the way he tortured me.
Thank you for that, Chris. And btw, remember The Big Henry? Pretty cool old guy and he and I had a pretend poker game where the stakes all went to DBD during the fund drive. Well, soon after the fund drive was done, I didn’t see him here anymore. So I went to his blog where he talked about politics and science (I guess he’s a retired rocket scientist or something?), and it had stopped updating too, and now I can’t find it. Since I figure you had his email contact for the fund drive, I thought you might be able to check up on the old bird. Not enough intelligent conservative minded people around as it is, and I would hate to think he broke his earthly bonds, which he had said he wouldn’t mind so bad, and neither would I if it weren’t for leaving wifey, kids, and grandkids without me to run interference for them…and I’d especially hate for him to miss the upcoming potus race, in the longshot hope that it will be the beginning of a new era for our Republic.
