I grew up on a small farm in Ohio. Zed, Sam, Damon, Jan, and Skye’s kids have a big ranch in Texas as their home, school, and playground. Plus loving parents and one cantankerous Grampa.

All the better to learn to “ride, shoot straight, and speak the truth”, as Jeff Cooper put it.

    cheers

A version of that was the motto of the Immortals — guards of the ancent Persian emperors.

Perfection, and values I tried to instill in mine.

Sam is very sure of her investment for her to be okay with it wandering around with that knockout sis in that knockout dress.

But yeah, the right seed, the right climate, and a lot of hard work will usually result in a fine, profitable crop.

That is Jan not Skye so Sam’s investment is safe.

Chris got my items from the fundraiser, Thank you so much.

And now we see the real reason parents tell their children not to run in the house.

They don’t want their retirement fund damaged.

Having just finished a very enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends I echo Polly Cy’s comment from yesterday.

And may the many blessings we have received keep us safe and secure and strengthen us, our nation and the civilized world.

With the last few days of loving family episodes to take us off our guard, I sense that something evil is about to happen.

Don’t confuse ‘toon-time with real-time. He’s been nursing that same drink since at least Oct. 22. ;>)

I’m not sure if this is a space-time continuum or a wibbily wobbly timey wimey drink. Zed’s been nursing that glass nice and slow. Savoring it just like his and Sam’s quiet times together.

Thanksgiving was excellent. Good food, excellent family, conversation and lots of love to bind everything together. Give thanks to that God who blessed us with it all. And, as a remembrance, and Empty Plate and Setting for those who were not able to be home with their loved ones.

Yes, Sam indeed did bear the interest. Nine months worth. Then it went back to being Sam + Zed for the next 18 years.

Is Zed’s eye patch permanent? He’s starting to look like a cross between GI Joe and Moshe Dayan… or Nick Fury, if you prefer.
