And while I don’t do the twits, someone else said all the tools should be used while they are available and to the extent they can be exploited. Trump does this masterfully, that’s his business acumen, using his adversaries’ own weapons against them…don’t know how he has avoided being silenced, too big to censor?
Trump is a private citizen and businessman running for President. Running a business is difficult and with as many as Trump has created he is bound to have some failures. Dealing with the federal mafia regulations makes creating a successful business even more difficult and is the major reason most new businesses fail within the first year.
You can try and trash Trump all you want, but he is the only candidate who isn’t taking big donor bribes, and he is the only real conservative candidate who can win. Cruz, Rubio, and Carson are all taking bribes. They have no choice. Trump is for nationwide concealed carry, tax reform and lower taxes, border control and no amnesty for illegals who will be deported if they don’t leave on their own, and no anchor babies, no common core and an end to obama care, and American jobs for Americans. Trump says he is worth $8 billion in his book, Crippled America.
Yes, he’s also said 10 while Fortune says 4+, which is why I said err on the low side. As money is the measure of business success, I’d say that qualifies.
An example of that success and ability to get shit done is the yuge ocean-to-intracoastal Mar A Lago estate in Palm Beach from where he gave his speech last night; that was my old stomping grounds and I passed by it hundreds of times during the period after E.F. Hutton widow Marjorie Post will it to fed gov as a presidential retreat. They never used it and had no idea how to turn that fabulous white elephant into a profitable palace, but Trump did.
After the state turned it down for free, DT bought it in the mid 80’s for five mil and spent much more than that transforming it into a world class luxury retreat, now estimated to be worth more than 100 mill. I call that business success, and deserved when you have the unique skills to make it happen.

Army Air Corps became the USAAF by 1941.
(end quote)
Which is correct as far as it goes but the USAAF is not the same thing as the USAF. It wasn’t until 1947 that the US Army Air Forces became the US Air Force a totally separate institution.
My Dad called them the Army Air Corps and who was I to dispute his choice of labels? I wasn’t but a twinkle in his eye until 1948.
“The National Security Act of 1947 was signed on on 26 July 1947 by President Harry S Truman, which established the Department of the Air Force, but it was not not until 18 September 1947, when the first secretary of the Air Force, W. Stuart Symington was sworn into office that the Air Force was officially formed.”[16][17]

WWII illustrated the value of airpower, and the need to change the basic organization of the US Military Forces. The result was the creation of a single Department of Defense with a strong Joint Chiefs of Staff with Army, Navy, and Air Force chiefs. In 1947 President Truman signed the National Security Act which established this new defense organization, and along with it the creation of the US Air Force as an independent service, equal to the US Army and US Navy.
The official birthday of the US Air Force is 18 September 1947.
