Ah, you do realize, don’t you, that it does not matter how many delegates Trump has on paper. No law can make delegates to a party convention vote against their conscience (yes, I know, most of the big wigs don’t HAVE a conscience) so Trump ain’t the Repub candidate yet. Not sure who the GOP would put up to face Kankles, but they do not HAVE to vote for Trump in any round – even the first. The primaries are even more empty a show of democracy than the national popular vote is for the Electorial College. Those folks cannot be forced to vote against their conscience either.

Yeah. But what – in practical terms – can they do about it? It’s already too late in most states to get on the ballot as an independent/3rd party. So we will have the choice of either not voting or voting for either whomever the Dead Elephant party nominates or Hildabeast or maybe some other party (Libertarian, Green, whatever). And that’s why the founders were so against political parties.

I can’t stand that little fuck and very much hope his new moniker will be Ryan No! as the train crushes him beneath its steely wheels.
