Welcome to my life.
My city was 90% Jewish when I grew up. Progressive (to say the least, Socialists (a commissioner) and portraits of Lenin, Stalin, Carl Marx, Trotsky were on the Jewish Cultural Center across the street from the family business. I spoke with them often and got and gave them points of view, even as a small child.
Then it turned Cuban and then Latin. Then more Progressives came from New York and elsewhere.
I saved my family, but, they just accepted that i must have been their slave, or that everything great that I did would have happened anyway.
Now that i back in a place where cousins settled in the 1820’s, i am looked as a city slicker by many.
Talk about getting racism from every side. I am a majority nationwide, yet treated as a discriminated minority at every phase of my life.
majority “minority” towns now demand that “minorities be treated as disadvantaged so theyy get preferential treatment across the board.
Victims, Inc. they manufacture crosses of persecution to enhance the internalized self esteem and cultural responsibility that has been brainwashed out of so many of them.
Then i ran into a Jamaican born lady at a friend’s salvage antique store last month who got US citizenship and now lives in the Bahamas. She got it. She knows she has to scramble in the world. She works as is normal for people to do. She succeeds. She has because she understands what makes things work. And she works. She knows quality and acquires it rather than quick junk.
Know yourself and what is real. Teach that to the kid and he will have a good jump up.

Take my vote, and I will keep the $65K I spent in federal taxes, and $19K in State (plus $8K in property taxes and 6.875% in sales taxes). Obviously, I live in a blue state. Depending on how “old school” your local priest is, the opposite is true for Roman Catholics. Children of a Catholic father via mothers of any religion are accepted as Catholic whereas children of a Catholic mother aren’t accepted unless the father converts to Catholicism.
I was raised Protestant and dated a devout RC back in the day. I was informed of this by the priest even though the young lady and I were only dating. There was also a bit of a lecture about pre-marital coitus.
Needless to say, I listened politely as failure to do so would likely have resulted in loss of access to the pre-marital coitus I was already enjoying. As it turned out, marriage wasn’t in the cards so no converting to a Catholic.
Instead, I joined the Jedi Order of Pastafarians.

I read about that in one of Charlotte MacLeod’s cozy mysteries. What I read there stated that it required the mother to be Jewish for the child to be considered born Jewish.
My mother tried to raise me as a Protestant; I protested. I term myself a Deist. Or for shock value when required I say I’m a pagan, as I am not a follower of any major religion. If the listener wants to take it as meaning I follow some pagan creed, it’s on them…

I took off most income paying work to be typing more on my computer, oft while looking at the state forest next door and the wildlife and plants that I am growing on my little 4 acre wood. Considering the success that i had with just one person taking on an invading army just by mainly using the weapon of the law as mainly contained in Wong vs USA (1898) US Supreme Court. And more.
I know when I have results. We all are capable of cascade events. or we can drive straight up the middle of the line like the old time proverbial Notre Dame Football Team. There is such a variety of action to be taken. much of it is simply discussion that educates a person that is ready with some aspect of truth. I have always been excellent at explaining things to people. It worked well in the small business that I controlled for a while. Then in my own not family business. In conversations with people that one meets about the town, I can see as people realize what I have spoken to them is likely the truth. It is a pleasure to see people know more after talking with me. Sometimes i know more after they educate me.

Technically — any child of a Jewish mother is accepted by Jews as a Jew. How others see such a child is something else entirely, as is what the child considers him- or herself. If such a child is raised Christian, he may be that way his entire life — but if he ever sets foot in a synagogue, as the son of a Jewish mother, he will be welcomed with open arms.
Chris, you may find this useful material for future comics. As Edmund Fleg cynically put it, before WWII: “Who is a Jew? A Jew is a man whom other man call a Jew.” (This is, unfortunately, the most historically accurate definition. Many, many people have been killed for being Jewish, when the only ones who thought of them as Jewish were their murderers.)
Or, in the more recent words of Ed Koch — “A person is a Jew first by birth, then by observance. If he ceases to observe Judaism, he remains a Jew by birth. If he ever forgets this, he can ask his neighbors, who will be only too glad to remind him.”

You can bet that, in the real world, Naomi’s kid will face real and brutal antisemitism, even here in the United States, no matter what he calls himself. (And yes, a lot of it will come from liberals and from Muslims.)

People forget where they came from. The snowflakes, madmen and the elites turn a blind eye, close their ears and minds to the pain, suffering and devastation running rampant in the world. Then have meltdowns about the newest transgression du jour with the latest label of hate. Howling “Burn the Witch” with every breath. They are indiscriminate.
Please God, do not let them breed. Allow their lines and the damage they’ve caused to fall into history. Let them be listed as an aberration in the Chronicle.

But we must recognize how others label us, as that is the current way.
Those in the chronicle of humanity must respect all so long as those respect us and all. The old way is similar to a mafia where they respect family, and violence similar to kingship’s of old gains favor and power.
