Oh, yea Alien…truly one of the f-cking scariest movies I have ever seen….

And, yes, back then Sigourney Weaver was one hot badass babe.

NYT? Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
That It Is Dead and cannot revive.

I’ve seen their slogan as: “All the News That’s Print to Fit.”

The Times’ motto is “All the News That’s Fit to Print.” The truth, for the Times and every other leftist media outlet, is “All the News That We See Fit to Print.”

I suspect that nothing has really changed all that much and that they always filtered the news. It’s merely that they have taken the gloves off since they perceive no down side to being overtly leftist.

How about “All the fits that’s print as news.”

    • April 29, 2017 at 11:34 am

Those are takes on their old motto. They traded “news” for “truth”:

      The truth is hard.

      Hard to find.

      Hard to know.

      Hard to tell.

Well okay, I added that last one, but it surely applies to the NYT…like my Daddy used to say, “The truth ain’t in him.”

So they lie. Lyin’ is easy…they should make a new ad.

One with the Earth? Why do they trash Mom Earth everywhere they go?
Can we export them to another planet? Or will it be too hard to find one that will take them?

        Funny you should mention that.
When I was in Beirut back in ’82, my nickname was, “Mr. Relaxation”

I could sleep anywhere, anytime there WAS time and on any thing.
I could sleep wearing a gas mask, sleep standing up… once I sat down on a huge coil of heavy chain and fell asleep.

After you’ve been deprived for a few days (or an entire week), yep, you can sleep through almost anything! Lound bangs, however, still wake me up to this very day. That and if someone reaches over me while I’m sleeping.
I’ve had to warn a couple of wives and several girlfriends about that little quirk.

A lot of guys did likewise IF, like CPL Hicks, it wasn’t their first rodeo. 🙂

I have occasionally been awakened by thunder right over my house, so loud that it sounded like someone had dropped a cannonball on the roof.
That’s when you go outside and yell ‘Thor, drop your d#$@%d hammer some place else!!!’

  • April 28, 2017 at 10:44 pm

I generally do not view the Enemedia as pondscum. Pondscum contains far more integrity, intellectual honesty and moral backbone. The Enemedia will never attain the level of pondscum.

Every now and then someone goes back to trying make bio-fuel by converting pondscum to oil.
The best the members of the DMC could manage would be fertilizer.

I disagree, Bill G. Fertilizer has some nutrient value for plants of all kinds, including corn and soybeans. The people you’re talking about aren’t even at the level of rough tillage, which is dead plant material left after harvesting grains to aerate the soil.

Pulp Fiction is correct. And the smoldering boulders who make up the staff of those organizations cannot see the world around them. Their worldview precludes any intrusion from reality.

They still think that they tell us what to think. The condition is called DELUSIONAL. And it generally impacts bank accounts in a negative way. When there is no copy room to report to on that fateful morning of bankruptcy, the NY streets will be filled with paper zombies.

Conservative radio talk show host Chris Plante (he’s syndicated out of WMAL in WashDC. Find him, try him — you’ll like him) has coined an appropriate word – looniverse – to describe the realm LSDs inhabit. Hard to top that . . .

Sadly, Dread, there are still many who believe the blamestream media’s clickbait. Even some who’ve been exposed to how false and spun what passes for news remain loyal to the establishment.

I have a subscription to the local daily newspaper, because it has announcements for things like farmers markets and antique sales – homey stuff like that, which you want if you live in a small community. On the weekends, I get the local Saturday edition as well as the Big City Sunday edition, which is bagged in a plastic bag with a massive ad for a subscription to the NYT.

I use the Sunday paper wrap to hold the stuff I clean out of the cat boxes. that’s about all the NY Times is good for.

I would think it might be somewhat useful as “puppy pads” or to protect the table’s surface when you want to make sure that nothing gets to it. Also, birds are totally indiscriminate regarding where they go so it should make halfway decent bird cage liner.

        Delilah T.

Oh, I was referring to the plastic bag it comes in. The paper itself becomes a mop when I spill water or walk in from outside with snowy shoes. I bag all the papers up in one bag so that they can be recycled properly.

The actual % has to be higher. Much higher, I’d wager.
For some odd reason I can’t recall the “Do you trust The Lightworker to tell you the truth?” poll after B. Hussein’s first 100 days of destruction…

27% is the number of people over and above the media’s percentage of trust with Americans, not the total.

    Ladies, Gentlemen,

There is a valid reason for reading NYT content … Intelligence gathering on the Left’s intentions and plans.

Of course I don’t recommend paying for the NYT. Artlcles available from their web site can be scraped with tools like Calibre, packaged into an eBook without all the pages of advertising, and become easy to read on-the-go with your tablet or smart phone of choice.

Sure it isn’t “the paper,” but close enough for G-2 purposes, while not assisting in their financial survival by subscribing. I do try and avoid doing my opposition research too soon after meals 🙂
