And that is why voting must be cleaned up to eliminate illegal voters, votes, vote theft and election theft. Trump set a group tasked with that, I believe.
But for 1/3 of Mexico invaded and inside the USA, there would be no contest. the Democrats would have lost by a large margin. that is why the democrats are bringing in enemy asymmetric armies and military colonialists bent on conquering America. They are intentionally and criminally replacing America to destroy America by fundamental transformation and getting rid of Americans and replacing them with their so called new Americans. From what I have been told the mob controlled corporations delivered the Sheetrock on time, quality goods, and at a very competitive low price. They also had no problems unloading at the job site being rehabbed. As a kid I used to say that they would do much better in legitimate business. Many of them made the move.
De Tocqueville spoke of the nation being destroyed by corruption when the cities in America became large like the big cities in Europe were back then.
In that environment he made great buildings that helped New York, and the USA.
My aunt, by way of marriage to my uncle, was mayor Dinkins welfare administrator. She pumped those dollars out massively, as Cloward-Piven strategy desired occur. I only spoke with her a few times, yet she was proud of pushing that money through. (Also later doing more in the carter administration) Mayor Rudy Giuliani swept that house clean.
Trump has tried to work within the system with the people to whom he brought a great victory. They have not worked with him and have colluded and acted to destroy him with the named opposition.
President Trump has fulfilled the karmic notion of offering to build for the benefit of all. He offered to all jointly building the dream that was possible. All would benefit.
Now the fate of those who opposed him is not his concern. They chose their fate. Now is time to place patriotic competent Americans in all of these positions now held by those who have shown their colors. I await our President’s actions. The bad foundation must be removed down to good American bedrock. Then the next rebuilding can commence. It should be better than ever. The President needs to hire a team concentrating on properly replacing the swamp creatures with American loyalists and loyalists to President Trump goals.

I’m pretty sure that the GOPe is working as hard as they can to lose at least one House. Not being responsible for actually governing is a lot easier and just as profitable. Right now, there is no reason to vote FOR any Republican in Congress. They know it, and their persistence in making sure that condition prevails means they don’t want the votes.
Then what we need to do is run new, decent candidates against them. We need to take this garbage and rinse it clean!

Too many of the GOPe have grown far too comfortable in their role as the Washington Generals, the designated losers whose only reason for existence was to lose to the Harlem Globetrotters. That’s why many of them were secretly (or even not-so-secretly) hoping for a Hillary win, and were/are so dismayed at having gotten Trump instead; a President Hillary would have kept the game going, with the DNC Globetrotters continuing to rack up one exhibition-game win after another, while all the hapless GOPe Generals had to do was continue to put on a good show for the rubes back home, lose with style, and collect their paychecks.

I think I have come up with an acceptable “path to citizenship” for at least some of the illegals. We let them buy citizenship – with a coin far more dear than gold. How about if they are young enough and don’t have a criminal record – at least no worse than what is being accepted already – we let them buy their citizenship with four years of their life? They enlist in the armed forces for a 4 year hitch and if they complete it without being tried for anything that would cause them not to get an Honorable Discharge they get to take the citizenship oath. If they screw up, the day they are found guilty in a court martial (or even in a civilian court of a crime which would have kept them from enlisting) the boys from INS take custody of them, transport them to a secure holding facility, and as soon as practical they are deported to their country of origin. If they show up here post deportation they get 10 years in one of those “resort communities” operated by the federal bureau of prisons where they get ample opportunity to become highly proficient at turning boulders into sand. If their offense (civilian or military) involves jail time the folks from INS meet them at the gate of the pen for deportation. If at any time they wish no longer to be in the armed forces, they can get out with just a little paperwork – to be met at the main gate by INS. All of this will be detailed in iron clad language in their enlistment contract.
I’m still cogitating and fleshing out the details but what do you guys think of the idea?

We already allow undocumented to enlist, and take the oath of citizenship. I have. I issue with this, after their enlistment they are now on the radar, and will be burdened with the same obligations the rest of us bear. I have known several who followed this path and they have a higher than native success rate due to the military background as well as a true appreciation of the whole process. They also end up being very anti illegal immigration due to being stock holders instead of shoplifters in the system.

Some of what you propose, Old Codger, is already in place. “Peacetime Military Service: Under INA Section 328, persons who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces (including active duty, reserves, or national guard), can file for naturalization based on their current or prior U.S. military service. The requirements for eligibility are that the applicant must have served honorably or have separated from the service under honorable conditions, have completed one year or more of military service, and be a legal permanent resident at the time of his or her examination by USCIS on the Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.” https://www.thebalance.com/becoming-a-citizen-in-the-u-s-military-3356945

Oh Goody! They’re all lined up in a row.
Can we play Whack-A-Mole now…
Those reptiles swept into the sewer or climbing out of it? Both. It’s on us to be sure the flood of the freshwater cascade keeps”it” there with the gators and other vermin of the swamp.
And remember the next election is not ’20 but ’18 and will be critical to this cause. Not sure about Peoria but in Fla Rick Scott has been a conservative rock for seven years much to the surprise of many including me. His potential successor has the experience and credibility to be even more so, a redneck boy from up the road in Bartow farm country. And he’s young, photogenic, and well-spoken…a solid “keep” on the governor roster in a state that has historically teetered. There are more like him coming in state and fed races, gotta stay focused on shoring up the foundation that Trumpism rests on.
On the path to citizenship, it is not a new idea for mandatory service to provide for it, but is very problematic as others have said creating a potential trained enemy within but more troublesome is it would focus on young males, of course the mostly likely group to be seeded and/or radicalized against us.
And of course there is and has for many years been a financial path to more or less permanent residency known as H-1B; got the dough to invest in business that can be shown or appear to increase employment? You’re in. Used mostly to bring in tech workers so not necessarily a boon to American employment, but possibly to the overall economy; NPR just did a piece on that recently. Certainly not fair, but it hasn’t been much of a problem though it certainly has the potential to be if infiltrators are sponsored by the enemy, and Trump is on it, already halting the expedited process…one reason why Silicon Valley types hate him.
In light of recent developments re: disclosing classified intel to the Russians, I am beginning the think we have an out-of-control egomaniac in the WH. Don’t tell me Hillary did it, or anyone else. It’s a crime even if some get away with it.
Worse, though, it seems to reflect an egocentrism that insists on its owner having the biggest disk in the room, no matter the cost of proving it. This will cost all of us, dearly, in the long run.
One often does well, in a negotiation, to let the other guy think he “won”. Trump seems incapble of doing that.
This is not to say that I disagree with all of his policies, etc – it is a commentary on an individual’s maturity and fitness for office.
Oliver, I haven’t seen anything about what exactly was discussed, but letting the other guys think they “won” something is likely exactly what he is doing.
The fact that like the “tapes” of Comey, DT outed this in a tweet leads me to believe it is just another of his very successful intentional diversionary tactics, playing into the media’s obsession with Trump/Russian “collusion” as they are so fond of saying, and probably actually providing a little disinformation to the Russkies as well.
