So does the time honored and proven act of watching each other’s back.
Because one can never be too cautious. Or paranoid.

Barry was not just the World’s Greatest Gun Salesman; he was a great psychiatrist, too.
I used to be paranoid, and now I’m merely informed.

Just because you’re not paranoid, doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.

Riding the 4 and 5 ring?
Hell, none of us would have been within 19 feet of the target.

Because none of us would have factored the rotation of the Earth into the equation.
I’d have sent a shot into the berm. Or a Freeway sign on the 405.

Bob in Houston-Vast Right Wing Basket of deplorable!
Heh, or like me about a zillion years ago trying to sight in my CMP Garand for the first time and hitting the ground in front of the target with enough gusto that the flying dirt tore my B-27 target completely off the wooden frame.
The black is a bit larger for a 1k target, ya gotta see it to shoot it.

1K target is 20 inch. However if he turns around, the target will be a bit smaller and much more fun to aim for.

Deplorable B Woodman
Nice tight grouping, all three shots touching.
Depending on conditions (distance, wind, temperature, humidity, et al), Zed might make an adjustment for zero……..or not.

Talk about having one’s brain-reticle in the wrong focal plane. Nice, Chris. Merry Christmas to all.

If its still a .308 then its a 50 foot pistol target from the relatives size of the holes. If its a 1000 yard target then its a Hughes M230 30mm chain gun. Though these are typically fired off an Apache’s chin. But Sam being an Engineer and a clever tinkerer, African engineering one for Zed for Christmas would be most appropriate. I wonder how much a HEDP round goes for these days. By the way, being high wide and handsome with that round is relative as the kill radius for unprotected combatants is 10 feet. Nice group though.

NICE grouping (If you can call two a grouping), oh and the target shooting is ok grouping wise too.

Nice grouping and a nice pair!
Its going to be a great day!
When I went through Basic Training, USAF, in 1967, I fired the M-16 and all my shots (except one) were centered in the chest. That one was right between where the eyes would have been. There was a guy who was firing at the same time who scored almost twice the number of hits that he fired. The guy next to him scored only two hits.
I didn’t make Expert then, I think counting the holes was too hard given how many overlapped and merged, but I did qualify as Expert on the M-16 later, in Thailand when I trained to be a Security Police Augmentee. That is also when one or mare careless Security Police who were firing the .38 almost killed me.

I remember the one where Skye put all her shots into the center ring … of the target in the adjacent lane.
Or three shots grouped above the head of a supposed attacker.
With her eyes closed.
Or it could have been Zed performing Over Watch Duty.
That is a scene I DO NOT believe can be “over watched.” One never gets enough of that.
I think she might have been missing a shirt too tho for that strip.
I wonder what distance they are working at?
Sam is using a spotting scope for a reason. ๐
About a 2โ bull so probably 100yd, heโs only 1.5โ out with a decent group, maybe Sam tweaked his turrets. ๐
Or tweaked HER turrets …
Yeah, that subconscious awareness can be inhibitive…
Even Zed’s misses are in a tight group.
1000 yard target, tail wind from the right.

74-94 career, 80-94 CATM. I did my best to insure MY students were a hazard to no one but the bad guys;).
A pair with three of a kind is a full house in my book.
Sam, please, you can do better than that. High and to the left.
Is that “high and to the left” of the paper target in the distance? Or the three targets close behind Zed?
I commend Zed’s situational awareness.
Now, now Zed, Sam is just illuminating the target with her lasers!
