The appearance of violating prisoner rights would have been so politically incorrect in the climate of the Soviet Union at the time that they expended massive efforts and funds that they did not have to spend on keeping up the fictions about prisoner rights. Anyone who did not follow the procedure would have violated their required job duties and would have been severely punished and possibly lost their jobs, benefits, pensions, or worse for depriving the prisoners of their legal rights and legal process. Getting the judges in place is critical for Trump to have a longer term impact. Though I hope he chooses wisely.
True that the tools placed in the box for use by one is then available for the use or misuse by the next, as some of George the second’s restriction of many of our rights and freedoms in the name of Tango control were picked up by Zero and used directly against some of us in the name of advancing all of the leftism/socialism narrative and agenda.
But if we don’t use all tools and “actions” against them now then when? We can’t not beat them back with every means including new ones over worries “they” will have new tools in their next term…because if they get a next term it’s all over anyway and none of that will matter. All in I say, whatever it takes, while we have our chance.
The leftist media (redundant) now make no bones about their affiliation and agenda but as you say every run they take at him bounces off and comes back at them. So now they have convinced so-called new or social media to join their cabal of fake news, with F-book now running a teevee ad essentially saying how they’re about to wipe out all the content and postings they don’t like while allowing through all the content and postings they do. Know now how kidnappers etc would snip and paste different words and letters into their ransom notes to hide the source, say what they want without writing anything themselves? Same thing, done with blockers and hordes of hired censor drones to let through only what they want, keeping everything PC, virtuous, and raking in the dough (ultimately as always, following the money). The effort is on to do essentially the same with the twits (speaking of their tools being turned deadly against them; Trump is the undisputed artist of that shit too, killing them softly but certainly by their own hand ). But they will be ultimately successful in defacto blocking him and us from that tool…and as I’ve advocated before, building a better tweeter and delivery platform for it needs to start now for when that happens.
Dead on with the scotus thing, a couple of those fossils need to die already and DT should be vetting some choices including running them by us his faithful deplorables; I don’t doubt his wisdom in choosing but it is our job as the board he is chairman of to correct any errors or wrong turns. Absolutely that will be the ultimate determining factor in the legacy of Donald Trump and the Deplorables in the future if there is one.

Love this one, and not just because of the way Sam sticks it to them. Chris is getting better at drawing eyes for the sane people. I love how his depiction of politicians like Pelosi have the ‘Crazy eyes’ look, which is a clear indicator of their mental well-being… 😉
