A beautiful statement, to be sure.

And while the sedition charge is correct, it ain’t treason.

    Article III Section 3

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

    It’s an important distinction.

I disagree. “or in adhering to their enemies,” as in Iran, etc as we become embroiled in internal strife it aids our enemies. And, Formwiz-you’re nitpicking again.I don’t mind critique, but you have a history of this, which I have mentioned to you before.Constant nitpicking on every toon distracts readers and I won’t have it.Got it?

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

I see Jane Fonda manning an anti-aircraft cannon with grinning enemies of the US looking on.

        Levying war… check
        Adhering to their enemies… check
        Aid and comfort… check

And Chris is right, formwiz. WTF are you doing, playing jailhouse lawyer with a fargin toon?

I see treason — even looking at it with your jaundiced view.

You know? The “giving them aid and comfort” would qualify the whole LSM as traitors back during Desert Shield/Storm. I remember going to a “Support the Troops” rally in Albuquerque and there were easily 200 people there supporting the troops (I was wearing my “Try to burn THIS one” flag T-shirt) while the nearby counter-demonstration had perhaps 30 people. The media made it look like there was a huge crowd at the anti-war rally (“dozens of demonstrators” was the phrase IMS) and only a couple of people at the rally in support of the troops.

For the record, I wasn’t there in support of the war. My son was in the Rapid Deployment Force and unloaded the first ship.

Well, treason or sedition? Tomatoe/tomato as far as I’m concerned.

What I would really like to see these rat bastards charged with-Obama, Hitlery, Brennan, Clueless Clapper and all those shitheads- is the liberals favorite catch call for politicians and cops they don’t like:

TO WIT, These shitheads violated our civil rights…especially our 14th Amendment rights to equal representation. What all their bullshit Russia gate nonsense is trying to do is deprive 63 million Americans of their vote.

EVERY state certified their 2016 election results and Trump won. PERIOD.

But all these bastards are in so deep with their domestic spying and trying to throw the election to Hitlery that they can’t quit now…they literally have no alternative but to try and drive Trump from office before the game is up.

So I certainly do feel like my civil rights are violated every time Mueller, Rosenpenis (not my nickname but I like it) and all those bastards open their mouths and spew more venom toward Trump and all of us who voted for him.

As Kurt Schlichter says…they hate us and we’d better open our eyes and start hating them back. This is a cage match to the death and I can’t wait to see what happens of the 2018 midterms roll Trumps way and the Demoncrats don’t take back the House or Senate.

DAMN, that is gonna be fun…nearly as much fun as watching Sam naked.

Ok, not nearly that much fun…but it will be sweet.

Not nitpicking, but an honest difference of opinion.

Herein lies the rub, What Tokyo Rose did was adhering to enemies, but is what Lurch or even Zippy did? Is being a globalist treason, in and of itself?

If one of them says (and they have), “America needs to take its place as an equal in the community of nations and I do everything I can to make that happen”, is that treason?

      • May 28, 2018 at 2:57 am
        Bill

        Yes. That’s treason.

  • May 27, 2018 at 12:16 am

formwiz, dead nuts ON! Yes, the penalty for treason is DEATH! The way I’ve got it figured, PPV of the executions would pay off the National Debt. And any number of their actions is treason.

The Smithsonian, as with almost all other foundations seeded by patriots for good and worthy causes, has been proudly leading the tsunami of PC indoctrination in every way possible since, as with almost all other foundations seeded by patriots in former times, it was taken over by infiltrators inspired by their college indoctrination to become ‘change agents’ who would ‘fundamentally change’ the very history, thus the nature of, the U.S. of A.
The destruction of that cesspool of seditious lies would be among the best results of said nuclear cleanup of the swamp.
While the loss of some certain items of historical value would be incalculable, the coninuation of the perversion of said items from historical records to indocrination tools will, imho, wreak destruction on the minds of coming generations far worse than the effects of losing them altogether, my friend.

Hate to say this but Chris ‘may’ have a boo-boo right here. Zed is most definitely US Army (USA) and the 3 letter acronym for “Captain” is “CPT” with no period for USA O-3 designation. US Navy O-6 acronym is “CAPT”, but also with no period. Since no one has ever, to my knowledge, specified which branch “Captain Obvious” is in, my personal view is that it should be CPT for the minor things but CAPT when the thing is FUBAR!

Maybe he started to write out “Captain” but realized that, even with Sam’s gorgeous assets, it wouldn’t fit?

The obvious (but unutterable in public) fact that the Democrat party, the Left, is firmly rooted in Marxist class warfare, Marxist “oppression” theory, and Marxist collectivist “solutions” is, in itself, treason and sedition rolled into one to the nth power. Everyone knows it, but for some godforsaken reason it’s still not allowed to be said aloud. Hence the charade.

Get the leftreds to squabble amongst themselves more than they are doing now.

You see, despite being Sam’s ability to shoot laser beams from just about anything, that’s only for targeting something. Ya gotta have back up for it, too, something that the leftreds can’t hide from, and a high volume of it.

Gee whiz, even Benedict Arnold couldn’t figure out which side his bread was buttered on.. or where the jam jar was… made the wrong choices, didn’t he?

If you ever read ‘Man Without a Country’ (grade school), that’s what these leftreds really need: their own habitat, walled in, supplies delivered sporadically, and no shelter from the globulls- -t warming. Death Valley, perhaps?

We have any number of small islands in the Aleutians that would serve nicely.
I’d recommend using them to detain illegal aliens awaiting deportation as well, but the Hungarians seem to have a better idea.
Just build the fence/Wall well within our border and use the space in between for detention. That gives the would-be entrants the option to escape back across the border (in our case into Mexico) on their own. Meanwhile we provide food, water, and shelter to the official detainees only and let the new arrivals fight them for it. Perhaps (though not likely) this Hobbsian ‘life in the state of nature’ will teach them a lesson about the value of following the Law.

Coventry was outside the Barrier, outside the enclosed city. These self-important dystopes need to be in the dystopic part that you see in ‘Soylent Green’, with no way to get out. Heston’s character ( in the movie) was afraid to leave.

What is ‘obvious’ is that many Americans have forgotten (or ignored) the fact that tomorrow is Memorial Day. I strongly recommend reading Oliver Wendell Holmes “Through our great good fortune, in our youth our hearts were touched with fire” speech of May 30th 1884.
If it doesn’t stir something in your heart and soul then it’s time to rethink your values. He concludes:
“But grief is not the end of all. I seem to hear the funeral march become a paean. I see beyond the forest the moving banners of a hidden column. Our dead brothers still live for us, and bid us think of life, not death – of life to which in their youth they lent the passion and joy of the spring. As I listen, the great chorus of life and joy begins again, and amid the awful orchestra of seen and unseen powers and destinies of good and evil our trumpets sound once more a note of daring, hope, and will.”

Last evening at Mass I thanked God I live in America (and the fact DJT is President), this morning I will go to the range and exercise my 2nd Amendment rights and tomorrow I will remember my fallen comrades.

Trump is the first presidential candidate of a major party to say what the people of the United States believe and want.
    He stated it factually.
He stated it emotionally. (I never succeeded in gatting a ticket for a rally)
He stated it prospectively. He said what good the American people wanted to do here in the USA and for the citizens and legal residents. He also said how the Americans wanted to help people around the world, and where. Not here.
He also said how we should trade with the world.
He also said lock her up. And them. We are waiting. The Deeep State is deep and strong. Not an easy task.

Many candidates have said what Trump said in various and lesser ways, Each major party spouted populism when running from the previously losing side.
Then the new party winner and that party would not do what they said during the campaign.

Trump has done, or attempted to do, what he said that he would do.

Replace the Congress with non RINOs and non Democrats come November. The primaries are almost more important as the final candidates are chosen then.

Trump still needs help in the Congress. he is putting many good people into the federal judge positions that he has filled.

She inspires the obvious up above.

And it is a super power when people listen, and the person stating does the obvious. Though sometimes not directly.
