Instead of the Tea Party, a protest group called itself the Reform Party but they initially chose to work outside of the Conservatives, even elected politicians under the Reform Party banner.
After a while, it became evident that the political right needed to unite in order to achieve power. A series of meetings led to an eventual reconciliation. At one point, the name Conservative Reform Alliance Party was floated but rejected as soon as someone noticed the acronym.
Special High-Intensity Training. I thought that was what the Army made me sit through every year to tell me how sexist/racist/whatever-ist “any reasonable person” would perceive me as (unless I said there were 5 lights, or similar brain-smoothie idiocy).

Any Navy types out there who, like me, remember (with disgust) the UPWARD (Understanding Personal Worth and Racial Diversity) seminars of the early ’70s? Took one of the most level-headed, balanced caucasian sailors I ever met and, in just three days, turned him into a raging, flaming racist.
