The universe is infinitely creative when it comes to making idiots.
Now stupidity is a close relative to idiocy which explains why “You can’t fix stupid.” I figure the universe is just as creative at making stupid as it is idiots. No more sense trying to fix stupid than it is trying to make something idiot proof. It just can’t be done!
I read a statistic some time ago which stated that the average IQ of the American Public was below average!

Since Skye is supposed to be appealing & stealing votes from the Dems while still appealing to centrist GOP voters, the thing to ban is the extremist fringes…
Ban AntiFA, ban Black Lives Matter, ban Marxism, ban racism (traditional definition, not the social justice version), ban that kind of stuff specifically and wholeheartedly.
The reality is many people are authoritarian and that kind of stance will appeal to them… as much as libertarians like myself are repulsed.

They’ve taxed stupid for ages by taxation, with tax codes so labyrinthine you need teams of accounting geniuses to pay the minimum and get the largest refunds. Then the Democrats offer to exchange aid programs for votes and creatively give back overpayers their own money. But now so many file free online with guaranteed minimums that the Dems are desperately running up debt.

They – all of them – have not had a single idea that didn’t involve taking more of other people’s money. They want their 4 Lifesavers out of every roll that you already bought, having already paid a tax when you bought it. And if you don’t eat them right away & keep ’em around…? They will want to tax it again as ‘inventory’.

The signs saying Islam is right about women was a superb bit of trolling. At least, I hope it was trolling. The response was glorious:

Oh, no; no proper liberal can say that anything is wrong with honor killings, female genital mutilation, punishing women for the crime of being raped, or any of the rest of Islam’s treatment of women. But the appearance that one of her neighbors might like those ideas is horrifying.
