Yesterday, everyone was commenting on how many Coronas Jan had quaffed… Perhaps that’s the same bottle being kicked into different locations as she works under the car? Lord knows how many items I’ve “bumped” while I was under various pieces of rolling stock. Maybe all of those ‘clanks’ are when she kicks it or catches it with an elbow…
To support my theory, as low as that car appears to be how would someone turn up a ‘long-neck’ under there?
Jan? I thought that was Skye. Isn’t Jan with her folks in Argentina?

What’s old is new and vice versa. The leftists have been playing this game forever… pretend to be conservative long enough to find a way to hurt conservatives, stab those who embraced them, rinse & repeat.
Whenever I hear/read someone saying, “As a conservative, I….” at this point, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
The Dispatch is just a bunch of Rhinos who are part of the establishment that Trump and those of us who truly support him want to be rid of. Our federal government, all branches, and the agencies that support it have been a ineffective piece of crap for decades. It is time to flush them all. And, that includes MSM and the likes of Jonah Goldberg, Toby Stock, and Steve Hayes.
Steve Hayes and Jonah Goldberg were the two reasons I stopped watching Special Report on Fox. It was bad enough when the litany of liberals were on, but with these two nevertrumping nonstop, it just became too much.
Agree re:Hayes and Goldberg – Never Trumpers to the core and it seems that is much of what Special Report’s panel has become. Then along came Mollie Hemmingway and it was pure joy to watch her slice and dice folks, including other panelists, with facts that she seems to have at her fingertips.
Off topic, but I find it ironic that all those progressives out in California who bought all those Teslas are not going to be able to drive their cars because of the blackout caused by all those progressives who don’t want PG&E to be able to maintain their power transmission lines.
Saw a teevee interview last night with folks who were desperately going from store to store in search of a generator. Those dirty gas sucking carbon belching things are probably illegal there now, but any bets on their gov kicking back in the mansion running on backup? “But, but I am the Big Important Guy with big important things to do and say so I need POWER!!!
Hey JTC..the conditions for shutting down the grid were not in effect. The winds and humidity were not at the levels to shut it down. Though San Francisco and Silicon Valley were not subject to the shut down. What gets me is that when brush clearing could have been done, it wasn’t allowed by the state or local peeps. Plus the delayed replace/repair of the wires didn’t help. It seems the PG&E Board gave themselves a really nice $11,000,000.00 BONUS the day they shut off the power.
Wow. The highest concentration of tech in the world is located in a third world country…there’s a lot of stupid and greed that got things to this point, but I seriously suspect something far more surreptitious, dark, and evil is involved too. Don’t you at some point have to go ahead and get the hell out of there P?
Speaking of stupid and greed, maybe Kali could get Bush the Lesser and his buds at the UN to rescue the grid there just as efficiently as they did in Iraq…just give them a bunch of tax billions to throw at it, maybe let Gavin work some of his train magic on it too. I mean you won’t get your power situation fixed but the UN is broke and needs your money, Georgie would probably get some more hugs from Mobama and Ellen, and the Gov would get to scold you for letting Big Biz and Big Oil get you into this predicament. Win-win-win for them, big loss for you, but hey, can’t win ’em all.

As soon as I go on Medicare, we are relocating. My family has been here since 1845/1846. We’ll be checking out Southern Idaho.
Unless there are major changes, we will be gone.
Sounds like a necessary plan. Hard to give up on the history, but then again that’s what the fam did of necessity when they left the old country and settled in what was then the land of freedom and opportunity in the mid 1800’s…you’ll be the new pioneer and they will be proud of you.

Yeah, same here. My wife’s family are transplants from Maryland (as am I), but when I pull the plug as a wage-slave in a few years you can bet we’ll want (need) to go to AZ or NV to get out from the tax monster.

Ace reads Goldberg so no one else has to. And hotdogs ARE sandwiches!
Yep, Jonah Goldberg always seems as if he wants to be a Dennis Miller with a bowtie, tweed jacket and a china cup of Darjeeling Tea. A poor knockoff. Nice shot!
Heard of the site but hadn’t been there before; in fact I don’t go much of anywhere but here and a gunnie site or two; following a few links from DBD and skimming a few stories from NPR and other LSM (there’s that opposition research again; what was that quote about keeping your enemies closer than your allies?) is about the extent of my online political intake. But I like the place and much of what is said there…here’s an excerpt from today that I could have written, and in fact have written several times almost verbatim:
“The more we see, and the more we take this all in, the more I look at President Trump and marvel at him. Not only is he still there, but he seems to be stronger and more determined than ever to win, not just for himself or for his own ego, but for all of us and for what’s left of the Republic. Yes, I think from where we are right now, he’s going to win in 2020 and I think it’s going to be a clear victory if not a big one. But what gives me pause is trying to read the tea leaves to see what happens after he’s gone in 2025. Was he just a speed bump along the inevitable path towards the dissolution of the republic into globalist and/or Islamic hell, or will he be a harbinger of national rebirth?”
But WTF is up with that URL? Not familiar but then again IDKS about that stuff. Anybody know?
Wikipedia sez : .nu is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) assigned to the island state of Niue.
…
Used for a multitude of sites all over, few with any connection to Niue; especially popular in Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium since “nu” is Swedish, Danish and Dutch for “now”
mu.nu apparently hosts many blogs of which Ace of Spades is one. Going through the list and seeing many that died in the previous decade, I’ll assume it’s probably free hosting.
I start my Friday reading Ammo Girl – “thoughts from the ammo line” – on the powerline blog. She is a true conservative and very much a supporter of President Trump but also a former stand up comedian. Her columns are insightful as they are humorous. And make sure you read the comments after each column. Highly recommend. Then I go out and exercise my Second Amendment rights!
Ace has been a daily go-to blog for many years and one of the few, and best, to survive the post-MAGA GOP split. Kinda scary how few are left that are as smart and reliable.
Scarier still is why Drudge has gone over to the dark side? Creepy.
2020 is going to be a very different media landscape than 2016…
Gawker died, Weekly Standard died, Think Progress died, Splinter is being shut down now. HuffPo and others have cut back. Anti-Trump sites seem to have problems staying alive.
Anyone else notice the Elizabeth Warren timeline? At the end of the school year at the beginning of June, she was six months pregnant. After the three month summer vacation, she’d be having the baby at the start of the school year and would need some time off. I’m wondering if that school principal told her they’d get a temporary replacement and Warren’s memory took it from there.

Does anyone actually read or listen to him and his sycophants?
Other than Ace?
And/or why should we?
Because Ace rips Cucks like Goldberg a new one in beautiful prose.
Isn’t Ace’s given first name “The Acerbic” …?

That’s Sam under the car. I’m not sure Jan could turn a wrench sober, much less gloriously inebriated….

Supposedly they offered her a contract for the new school year, and noted with regret in the Board of Ed minutes that she had resigned.
