Springfield Mag Hellcat 9mm 13+1? Shield RMSc 4 MOA red dot sight that allows you to use the iron sights simultaneously? 124 grain Jacketed Hollow Points (JHP)? For Nikolai’s fifth birthday?
Probably for starters either the Hornady CD 100 gr or Federal HST 150 gr short barrel 260 ft lb muzzle energy loads. Let him grow into the Glock 45 or Sig M18 with 124 gr Gold Dots.
The Hellcat doesn’t fit my hand as well as the Sig P365 or Glock 48, but that shouldn’t be a detriment at 5.
Small enough to fit little hands. Ok.
Can’t expect little Nick to have the large and small muscle control of an adult, to hit his target in the first couple of shots. So………high capacity. I like Naomi’s thinking. Agreed. Mother of the year.

I went to my local gun store to see about putting my name on a list for a Colt Python. They told me that is wonderful “Unicorn” to desire. They also mentioned the “Hellcat”, as being a “Unicorn”. Well, I am on a list when they get the 3rd one. The owners father and brother will get the first two. **heavy sigh**
The new Colt Pythons have a bit of a problem. Nothing really serious. Just wait until the price goes down to Manufacturers suggested price. Check the inletted crown for machine marks. If it can’t fire hard primers, they will take care of that for you if you send it in.
Not really. I have a little problem with people jumping straight into self defense mode. I see it all the time. A person starts with a center fire firearm and they never learn the fundamentals. Learn trigger control with a .22 until accuracy is achieved. Preferable with a single shot rifle. Go to any public range and there are people who think they are getting all their hits when the huge silhouette target is at touching distance. Go to a bullseye match and there are people shooting pistols and revolvers one handed at fifty yards. But that’s an old man’s sport?? Exactly. Old men who know how to shoot. Oh, and thanks for showing the lovelies.
In WW I, General Pershing said: “Give me men who can shoot and salute.”
During WW II, the M1 Garand was (according to General Patton) “the greatest battle implement ever devised,” but the “Greatest Generation” learned to shoot with .22 cal. rimfire rifles.
Superior American marksmanship has been oft noted by historians as a factor in many battles in WW II. As an example, Japanese anti-aircraft gunners were notorious for being unable to properly lead a target.
Meanwhile, if word of mouth is to be believed, we taught our bomber machine gunners to shoot moving targets from the back of a moving truck.
It is said the B-17 has the highest victory count of any aircraft, but I’m sure that is due, at least somewhat, to the target rich environment.

I prefer to put the pistol target just outside 7 yards (kill zone for a knife). I can put 10 CoM in just over 6 seconds (good day I can put 10 in the head in the same time frame). Rifle I use a combo 25/100 yd lane. I sight in at 25 and then throw a hundred rounds or so at 100 yds. Can’t do it very often, 7.62×51/.308 Win ain’t cheap but that’s what “Ma Bell” (FNAR) eats. Thinking of getting rid of everything but the “Uzi Eagle”, Remington 597 and a .177 10-shot CO2 pellet rifle. Can’t see for shit beyond 100 yards even with a scope (cataracts and macular degeneration) and I don’t expect I’ll live to vote for Trump’s successor. No sense having the things any more. Reckon I’ll be dead before the Dims can fekk things up enough to spark AR/CW 2.0.
Standard for a pistol is 10 yards and even from a draw, five center hits should be under five seconds. Rifles are zeroed at 200 and a good rifleman should be able to shoot 600 yards without a scope. Bill Wilson’s 5 by 5 is a standard drill.

I dunno Bill, You look younger than me. I got new lenses due to cataracts last summer. Now I rent a firearm at the range and am learning to shoot again. Sight picture is totally different.

If you’re talking NRA Bullseye matches, it’s at 25 and 50 yards. One handed, standing. Optics are allowed, but no magnification (i.e. – red dot sights).

I personally favor the Glock 43X. Decent grip size and 10+1.
Me? 365XL. Perfection to my hands.

Speaking of “high capacity”, Jan’s & Naomi’s………capacity. To feed their babies. No starving infants in that bunch.
Speaking of guns, yowza… That is all…

5! I had to wait until I was 7.
Oh, you poor thing…
Ah, yes; warm guns are wonderful.
Why don’t we a-do it in the road (or bubblebath)?

Feet, rather. These matches are typically shot at small-town indoor club ranges. 50 yard indoor ranges are tough to come by.
So these two hot experienced babes are taking a bubble-bath together with bottles of bubbly involved? What could possibly happen, Pamela?
Not sure about capacity, but talk about some hot loaded hellcats!
