But when the Muslims do not see an opportunity to advance Islam, they will often keep any treaties they made.
But as Mohamed himself showed by his actions, a treaty may be broken whenever it is to the advantage of Islam. A Muslim has no obligation to follow any treaty or agreement that a Muslim makes with an infidel. After all, everything that the infidels own belongs to any Muslim that takes it. So is the teaching of Mohamed, the representative of Allah.

Looks like Zed sees a problem in the future and it does not involve recoil, at least, not that kind. Surface prattle does not change the reality below.
As for treaties, that is why Trump only gets involved in agreements that are to the advantage of both parties. Those don’t eliminate the possible contribution of blind stupidity but are generally “self enforcing”. They have agreed to do what they wanted to do all along.
As with the Chinee, keep your eye open for the surge of stupid when the dam breaks. I think that Israel and Serbia have been playing in that league long enough to know the “real” rules. Self destruction is Sura (Chapter) Two of their Book, as it always has been. The Persians, Mongols, and Turks knew the verses and just played to the inevitable. Sort of like “gravity” with a “rag top”.
Trump is pulling the US out of the middle east. Therefore this forces the players who have some existential threat from Iran to work together to counter the Iranian threat. So by necessity, they need Israel. They cannot do it alone. It is a masterful move by President Trump, and may work out in the long run. Saudis cannot depend upon Pakistan any more, so everyone is looking at the alternatives, and Trump’s plan with UAE and Israel looks like a good model for survival.
