; ) …. my lame attempt at humor. I’ve devoured RAH’s entire oeuvre many times through and am constantly rereading. There’s quite a few of us here at DBD : )
Am at the moment in my 10th (at least) reread of Friday and amazed at how much 2020 is in that book from 1982.
How I wish RH could have written the sequel about 2021…
Might be a hard read, but I want to know either way.

4. Extended marriages
5. Economic realities vs wishful thinking

7. Physics and use of the material world

The “storm of the century” in February wasn’t much by my Canadian standards but we did lose power for a few days… supply chain disruptions so grocery stores got emptied… boil water advisory for a week… Countless vehicle collisions, houses with frozen pipes…
It is a very positive very healthy lifestyle even for -especially for- young ones who will learn the difference between positive iand nnocent family nudity, and nekkidness with prurient intent. So much good social culture gets demonized and lost due to evil and stupidity.
So while the girls in this case are both literally and figuratively showing their asses and the fibbies cannot be charged criminally, they can damn sure be lit up civilly by deadly protective mamas, daddys, and badass bots…and should be, just on general principle.

In the Real World, the Stupid is going to Olympic Levels. Six Books are being taken out of publication, for ‘racist and insensitive imagery.’ The big ol’ nasty racist author? Why, Doctor Seuss, naturally;

I hope that Baen can get the license to publish them…

There are some other damn good ones too, like Abbott and Reeves there and several others, who have the balls and backbone and conservative Constitutional resolve to form up a solid confederacy of signatories to the CRA.
I see this as a shot across the Biden-Harris Administration’s Bow. You just know they’re not gonna stand for people deciding what’s best for themselves…
