I just bought me a new pick mattock the other day. I hope I’m only using it to dig pipe and wire ditches and postholes, but it has its uses outside that niche.
My son & I were talking about Elon Musk. My son mentioned Musk’s hyperloop tunnel concept as an example of how genius doesn’t always make sense. My son wondered rhetorically what people might put into tunnels which passed through the centre of major world cities. I said gunpowder. He “got” it.
Look up the definition of “Truth hurts”
And find that little nugget of Pam’s…

Posted a comment to the question raised about Skye being mad at Jo in yesterday’s comments. Another observation on yesterday’s comments concerns Woad, which I’m putting here…
It is too bad that Woad only comes in Blue. We need a similar tincture substance in RED.
The fun part is that the movie reversed the roles of those involved
guy fawkes was determined to blow up Parliament at the time the King was addressing it, in hopes of overthrowing the government to reinstall a catholic one
fawkes was given the job of ‘guarding’ the barrels of gunpowder and was caught after an anonymous tip was delivered to the authorities
Much in the same way fake votes were thrown in to overthrow the government the people really voted for.
Methinks the rest of the poem should be remembered as well and the appropriate substitutions made for the players… ‘pope’ pelosi fits well enough 😉
We can only hope an ‘anonymous tip’ reveals where the barrels of pre-filled votes came from, too many people were involved in this for someone not to either have a fit of conscience or be made a ‘better offer’ like immunity from prosecution
It’s not going to be C-S-I that breaks this open.
As in so many cases, it’s going to be R-A-T

So yesterday I said how amazingly our host catches the face and the force of real people so well in his ‘toons, and how Zed is modeled on the artist himself?
Well, in today’s installment the force is there, in the pick and in the pen, so obvious.
The face too but maybe with a wisp or two less hair around it.
Neck down though? What was it somebody said? C’mon man! 😉

I mean that face and that “force” are as real as it gets.
But the pick and the pen? Like all of the 2-D world, it is what we want it and will it to be. Even if it’s only in our heads, that’s where everything worthwhile begins, and sometimes ends.

So I agree but my body is still working in a physical to my senses world (Mowed lawn=aching back). My brain though, goes in places that would get me banned/locked up depending on what “others” think of my “thought crimes” But who knows, what I think may some day require action. And You know I look like Zed in this.

My heartfelt thanks and prayers to all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect freedom in this world. And to their family and friends as well.
Courage and strength to all of us still fighting for freedom – the battle is hard and unending but always worth fighting.
