I tried and seemed to lose my comment, Forgive if duplicated.
Well, I’ve had too much liquor to duplicate, but Aaron Lewis is blaring in my sound system so…. … now for something completely different:
In that year I learned about sensual as well as intellectual enlightenment, and you continue to bring resonance to those choices/mistakes/learning experiences that shape my existence.
69 was likewise a very special sensual year for me too epador, plus I was a class of 69 graduate. Last year i turned 69 years old. Guess how we celebrated? Cheers!
Off topic, but for Kurt Schlichter fans, his new book The Split is available for order from Amazon. For those of you who don’t know Mr. Schlichter, he has written a series of books that have been eerily predictive on a split between red and blue America.
1969 – I had re-enlisted the October before. By the time I had finished inprocessing, I was sitting in the MAC Terminal at McGuire AFB watching the election returns steadily mount up for Nixon. They finally called the flight to Rhein-Main just as Humphrey was conceding… I spent the next [x] hours asleep smashed into maximum-density seating on a C-141.
In 1969, I wasn’t doing much of anything. Turned 18 that year. In May of 1971, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After boot, I was stationed at Cherry Point NC in the 2nd Marine Air Wing, MACG 28, H&HS 28.

Any room that Jan (or Sam, Naomi, Suzi Q, Jo, or even Skye) passes through, the boys automatically become men. WOOF!
