Children know when someone has bad intentions, like dogs, they just need to know to rely on that instinct and this child did so. Good for her. Good for her parents and her confidence going forward in this world as things get curiouser and curiouser…Why can’t folks just leave other folks alone? The “Springtime for Hitler” clip from the new “Producers” movie is used in my powerpoint presentations when the idea purported is so stupid it just might work. Children and dogs absolutely have a God-given instinct if it is not “trained” out of them. I have always taken comfort in the fact that small children and dogs who have been left to their innocent instincts like and are attracted to me while a pretty high percentage of adults do not.
And expecting “leaders” who have dropped the ball continuously to stop it. Why? And what is the alternative?
They called 1/6 an “insurrection”. But what seems necessary is an “actual” insurrection aka civil -or more correctly uncivil but unavoidable- war of either the literal or virtual kind. How and when does this process begin so we stop lamenting and whining about “them” and naively discussing voting our way out of this incredibly unstable and critically dangerous situation we are in?
