Since the earliest days of the Revolutionary War, Patriots have been privileged to share fighting positions and friendships with other Patriots, who happened to be female, such as Mary Ludwig Hays, Margaret Corbin, and Deborah Sampson.
Perhaps they are too few, or perhaps they did not get the same press clippings as the men.
Either way, it seems to me as the fathers of daughters, that is in our wheelhouse to fix.

There’s a scholarly entertainment Internet program that breaks down ancient battles. What the program demostrates is the continual presence of war — no matter where, no matter when — humans are.
We ran out of worthy opponents (other than ourselves) by the time the first pyramid was begun.

We have now reached the pinnacle of mental progress toward war from the ultimate predator POV:
We have achieved a way to change and/or damage our own chromosomes.
At the same time, an 80-year old technology has spread; what took a 4-engined bomber to carry now fits in a suitcase.
The predator madness is the most powerful force in humanity. Individuals have voluntarily flown into buildings to make a point.
I volunteered for war (born in 1940). Not quite the same as flying into a building… but damn’ near had the same end result.
Magnificent, selfless, generous acts are done by individuals and groups. These acts do not change the basic reasons for their necessity.
