And to show their official gratitude to those that do pitch in and volunteer to help, while expecting nothing in return, instead of thanks there is the threat of arrest:

I have a close relative stranded in the west-NC devastation. So far no help from FEMA or Karmella. However, the area is deep, deep Blue and I’ve no doubt the Helene survivors there will be slavishly voting for Karmella no matter how intentionally cloud-seeded Helene proves (or not) to be. Having experienced a few hurricanes firsthand in the past, I felt in my bones that something was “off” with the way this one developed, moved and hit. Expect nothing but Crazy for the next 30 days…

In other news, why is the MSM ignoring the blockbuster exposé Candace Owens is doing about Karmella’s fake ancestry lies?

Because it worked so well with Elizabeth “Liewatha” Warren.

They’re counting on the same thing with Helene. Since people without electricity probably don’t have internet, cellphones or etc. working either, they feel that as long as they just don’t talk about it, it never happened. And so cannot embarrass their Anointed Winner and next Iconic Historic First.

After all, it also worked so well for their idol Mao Zedong whenever China suffered an earthquake, a flood of the Yellow River, or etc.

His policy was always “Bulldoze the dead into mass graves, bulldoze whatever was destroyed, state that no such thing occurred, and execute anyone who dares to say otherwise”.

      Yes, that’s the MSM/DNC ideal.

They now have Starlink™, which is a start. At least we know what they’re going through so that they won’t be forgotten.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the US budget deficit increases by that much in three hours.

Ukraine isn’t the problem. The wide open border? Now that’ll bite you on the ass.

Here in SC, the National Guard and State Guard are out clearing fallen trees, and helping run shelters. I’ve been assisting at a shelter in Campobello, which is about 12 miles from the NC line. Most of the town got power back yesterday. We haven’t had any one sheltering, but the shower and toilet vans have been getting some use, and we’ve handed out a LOT of water and meal packs. Highr HQ has advised that SC EMS may allow SC shelters in the Northern Area to accept overflow from nearby NC shelters. More to come on that.

I have 2 questions concerning this unconscionable action of “Assistant Fire Chief/Emergency Management” Chris Melton.

    1) Just exactly WHAT “crime” were you going to charge any pilot that rescued any more victims with to justify arresting them?

    2) WHO gave you the orders to do so? Because honestly, you don’t look smart enough to have come up with this egregious decision on your own!

And don’t you find it really interesting how a mere 24hrs later they’re welcoming back any and all rescue assistance with open arms?

No FEMA funds; stolen for the invaders, how
    scandalous.

come out as a giant nail in her campaign coffin.

Meanwhile union members are realizing they

I read yesterday that FEMA spent $941 million on illegal alien support, and is reporting they don’t have any budget left for hurricane relief now.

I also read FEMA was blocking and confiscating relief supplies because aid has to come from approved suppliers and trained staff.

The media has been very quiet about the remarkable ineffectiveness of relief efforts from this administration.

So, people aren’t even allowed to help each other? I know we’ve been in a death spiral for some time now, but this is in-your-face pure evil.

The attitude of this government so very closely resembles that of Stalin when he starved the Ukraine into submission.

Supposedly, heavily Democrat Asheville is getting all the aid it needs while the rest of the state festers. They wouldn’t be trying to keep the outages and impassable roads in place until after election day, would they?

There was a liebral MP up here who, when asked for assistance with a problem an elderly veteran was having with a gov’t agency, replied: “you didn’t vote for me, why should I help you ?” Apparently putting someone else’s election sign in your yard renders you ineligible for any gov’t services or assistance.

Personally, I’d rather have been seen aiding someone who didn’t vote for me in the hopes that he and his friends and family might in the next election, but that’s liebrals for you; they only know blatant theft and petty vengeance.

War veteran shocked by MP’s letter

An 81-year-old war veteran has been shunned by his member of parliament because he didn’t vote for him.

Jim Baxter wrote to Liberal MP Tom Wappel asking for some help receiving veterans’ benefits he had been previously denied.

The Second World War veteran, who lives in Wappel’s riding of Scarborough Southwest, is legally blind and partially deaf.

But in a letter back to Baxter, Wappel said he was puzzled by the request, since Baxter voted for the Canadian Alliance in the last election.

Wappel wrote, “How is it that you are writing to me for help if you did not think enough of my abilities to justify voting for me?”

Baxter had cast his ballot for the Liberals in past elections, but chose to vote for the Canadian Alliance in the last federal election.

Baxter, who served in the navy during the Second World War, says he couldn’t believe it.

Wappel is defending the letter, insisting there’s nothing improper about asking people what their positions are.

As for how Wappel determined how Baxter voted, he says that’s “his business.”
