I had a friend who had an outfitting business in Montana. I would help him during when he would be packing in and out his camps. He had a great string of Mules. 4 big Black ones and one BIG Rone. They were the greatest animals to work with. They would be a little fiesty at first but once haltered and harnessed up they were ready to work !
Those denying gummint interference in getting help to folks are having a hard time getting past videoed gummint interference with folks getting help to folks.
Denials ring hollow when you can actually watch it…
Need some of the AF Civil Engr teams to come in with Army earth-moving Chubaca-lookin’ stuff to get the ground access up to par. FEMA is task-organized to hand out stuff. They are not organized to actually fix very much.
The ones that I am worried about are the ones that have a second house in North Carolina and their main home in Florida. They are getting a double dose. At least there was a few letters between the names of the hurricanes.
There was a few letters between the names because in order to say ‘gorebull warming’ is making more hurricanes, they’ve changed the criteria for naming a storm to the point that if a seagull breaks wind in the middle of the ocean they give it a name. Going by prior standards, there are fewer storms warranting a name than there were even fifty years ago but that doesn’t give the media anything to push the agenda with.
Prior to today. most of these ‘named’ storms appeared then quietly died out over the open ocean and nobody ever knew they had existed, but with today’s satellite imagery they immediately get a name to pad the totals.
Not to say that people aren’t being hurt and damage doesn’t happen, but that damage is always measured in dollars and what once cost $15,000 now costs $250,000 or more, so the damage is always ‘record levels’ and up until after WW2 there wasn’t much of anything in Florida to be damaged anyway. Increase the population a hundredfold and the injuries go up a hundredfold but that’s never taken into consideration, just the deceptive spewing of the largest numbers possible to make it look like hurricanes are getting ‘bigger and more numerous’ when they aren’t.
1. Iran, China and Russia do not want Trump back in the White House.
2. There are at least 100 known terrorists in the US.
3. There will be a terror attack in the US. It’s not a question of IF, but WHEN.
4. If they cannot take out Trump through assassination, they have to disrupt the 2024 election.
5. I am a retired electrician, and it is easy to take a substation off line.
6. Now, if the above scenarios take place, whereas major areas of the nation lose power during an election, what happens? Does the president suddenly invoke Marshal Law? Will that administration declare the election null and void? Will the current President decide to stay in office for another year or so?
I have a small generator set up in my garage to keep my frig and a few other items online, but an outage caused by terrorist attacks, may last weeks if not months. The Electrical Providers only have so many transformers available for immediate use.
Thoughts?
For those that think the Mule Team story is baloney, it is not.
My hometown -which has recently been made more famous by the American Picers guys with their shops and home base there- is Columbia TN, aka Muletown because of it’s long history as a trade center for mules, and they feature Mule Day each year that attracts 200K mule owners, traders, and lovers.
My Daddy’s Uncle owned a farm where they bred and raised champion mules just north of Columbia in Spring Hill, and that is where Daddy spent his summers as a boy learning about all there is to know about mules, so I heard a lot of it over the years. Those critters are amazing in every way, and no doubt in my mind that they can do an amazing job of stepping up and stepping over gov wonks as they do the job that the wonks can’t/won’t.
Dunno what happened to the first post, let me know if I made some sort of transgression…
The National Guard has apparently formally admitted they did disrupt aid delivery with a UH60 Blackhawk’s rotor wash, of course it was ‘unintentional’.
Well, my wife of these last 65 years and Himself were in our house, lookin’ at the wind blowing the branches of our huge flame tree. Windy day, is all.
NOT!
Suddenly there were whistles and sirens continually going off in the distance.
I walked to the front door, and there was Lumpy and Beau (peacocks) cuddled up on the porch… and my huge ylang-ylang tree now looks like the pictures you see of Verdun, or Tarawa. Blasted. Torn. Fractured like it had been dynamited.
Here comes an emergency vehicle down my dirt road. I waved I was OK, and asked him what all the sirens were about.
“It was a tornado. You were right in the path. There are lots of people hurt, trapped, and I am locating others. Really, really glad to see you are all right. Gotta go. Please stay here for now; until all the emergency vehicles get done.”
Holy shit. A tornado in my front yard, and me unaware of anything other than a windy day.
A hat tip to post-Andrew construction methods: Instead of Maine Cabin Masters toeing in beams with a nail, down here houses are build like bomb shelters… The torn-apart ylang-ylang tree was partially over my roof. The roof is undamaged.

Actually, we had the government show up one day to haul away one of ours. And we had to drive 300 miles r/t to pick him up again.
Only when abandoning it’s citizens…….particularly those in red states!
Is this the same gummint that efficiently evacuated all its people from A-stan?
Nah.
At first I wondered what Mia was doing in Asheville. ;). Oopsie

That link made my day. Thanks!!
Well, the government is asses, so why should we expect otherwise?
Notice there was no mention of donkeys helping out.
But hey, Komrade Kamala has quick to find hundreds of millions to help Lebanon!!

This “govt.” would have trouble finding theirs and then have to vote on whether it was or not.
Would that “Marshal” law be administered by Matt Dillon, maybe?
One of my pet peeves 🙂
But you have to have martial law to implement the Marshall Plan 😉
