Growin’ up in Tax-a chusetts we figured it out early on what a bunch of screw-ups the Feds were, that they shot the wrong damn Kennedy.

Not sure about Bobby. According to G. Gordon Libby, who was with the FBI when he was Attorney general, RFK was an insufferable, egotistic spoiled brat.

“They shot the wrong damn Kennedy”.

      Agreed, in that moment.

      But unproven down the line.

      JFK had…tendencies.

As a Canuck, I can’t understand the cult-like worship of all things Kennedy… particularly when Ted was the longest serving/surviving member and he was about the most wretched excuse for a politician I’ve ever seen… bleh…

At heart, Democrats are both slavers and monarchists. The Kennedy family fulfilled their latter cravings. It wasn’t for nothing that the Kennedy years were dubbed “Camelot.”

After I joined the Air Force, I stayed registered in Mass. just so I could keep voting against the Bastid!

      I can appreciate that.
I lived in New Hampshire from 85 to 91 but was working most of the time in North Andover, so having to pay Mass income tax, while driving on their roads.
At the beginning I’d been a ‘loyal’ union member, so I faithfully voted Democrat. In 1988, Dukakis was running for president against Bush Sr. I’d asked my Dad, ‘So, vote for Dukakis?’ ‘Of course,’ was his reply. I did but I still don’t know why. I could see the shape of the state, the roads improved, and so did the quality of life when I drove north across the border.
But my first child was also born 10 days before the election. THAT changed my worldview, and I’ve voted independent or Republican ever since.
      So has my Dad.

Remember when Ted Kennedy discovered that he was on the no-fly list, because his name was the same as some IRA terrorist? He got off of it pretty soon, although none of the others wrongfully on that list could.

That’s when I learned that pigs do fly!

Kennedy’s bill isn’t the “gift”. It’s the GRIFT that keeps on giving.
