Our tax dollars funded that “research.”

We are way overdue for research, sponsored by individual citizens, on The Effects of 175 Grains.of Copper Jacketed Lead Applied at Greater than 2000 Feet per Second to the theses of Ivy League Faculty Members.

To ensure statistical significance, thousands of independent studies are necessary.

Has anybody stopped to think that if the assumptions made in these “peer-reviewed studies” of Sierra Echo X-ray were in fact valid, there would probably be no actual animal life on this planet?

I’m not even sure there would be paramecia.

(Yes, I’m pretty familiar with the little buggers, I spent enough time looking at them through a microscope.)

So today will be the day we enter WWIII. Been a while since we had a war where we actually got unconditional surrender from an enemy. Any other kind of surrender gets us into so much trouble later on down the line.

“Pity such graduates of giant intellect.” Proof, yet again, that some people are educated beyond their intelligence.

Hydro sexuality? Based on that first panel, yeah, another way of sayin’ we’re gonna be “gettin’ it wet.”

“Hydrosexual”?! A face-palm barely scratches the surface of a reasonable reaction to that nonsense. I’d think our witty host had made it up, except that (1) the source is easily found and hilarious, and (2) the dumbth singularity is upon us, and no satirist can hope to keep up.

Instead, I defer to one who somehow foretold the concept decades ago:

It has been my observation this sort of thing usually happens to people who have been educated beyond their intelligence; they end up going right off their rails.

So y’all remember a bit back the people that invented fake studies and got them publish by all these brilliant academics? They are are all useless money wasters funded by our tax money for ridiculous studies. The people that put men on the moon with slide rules for tools had more useful intelligence and accomplishment than these “educated idiots”.

Some days… TOO MANY DAYS… all I can do is shake my head in disbelief of the rampant stupidity of some of the creatures masquerading as fellow human beings.

I can’t take credit for it… but I gotta repeat that “Common sense isn’t so common, is it?”

In the words of Charlie Brown — “Good grief!”

Proving, yet again, that “Intelligent” and “Smart” are not congruent terms. Want Proof? Attend any MENSA Gathering. From personal experience I can unequivocally state that some of the highest IQs I’ve ever seen reside in some of the dumbest people I’ve ever met.

I can’t wait for the changing of the guard in Washington.
Abolishing the Income Tax and thereby defunding this idiocy that masquerades as “education” and “research” can’t come too soon.
Very few have considered just how much legitimate time, money, and brain power has been, and continues to be, squandered in the name of this “fair” taxation.
And that does not even count the warping of the economic landscape in favor of those who’ve already bought their not-so-fair share of tax loopholes to our expense.
And don’t get me started on the Unfairest Tax, Federal Reserve induced inflation.

With a little luck, these “hydrosexuals” will try to mate with the arthros, and catch the “glub glub glub express” to the deeper reaches of the Great Salt Lake; the only downside is that their mortal remains (eew!) would have to be extracted before crashing the ecosystem…

I don’t recall reading of anyone handing Newton cash to buy an apple tree.

Someone needs to commission a study on how closely related these ‘researchers’ are to various politicians or their aides and donors…it should be the last one needed.

This is why any ‘must pass’ Bill which apportions funding in any way, shape, or manner is stripped of any non-related inclusions or ‘earmarks’. If handing wads of cash otu for meaningless projects that pay off people in your riding is so important to getting you re-elected then let that be exposed to the cold, hard light of day and be voted on seperately

This is why you get 3,000 page legislation that could be summed up in 10, the rest is everyone else adding unrelated spending to it.
