HR 6090: Proving once again that the only way to protect your Freedom of Speech is to protect everyone’s Freedom of Speech. Which the progressive screechers on campuses aren’t doing.

Both sides are forgetting Robespierre’s Law: Power you give government to do unto others will be used to do unto you.

What the hell ever happened to “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington”?

Our government is now a charade.

Perhaps it is a genetic thing, but as you read this, the very same feeling can actually be seen in Germany, Britain, France, Holland… Where outright physical revolt against government is taking place.

By genetic, all the above are countries with a predominantly white populace.

    Just a notable oddity.

Both the Roman’s and the Jews were complicit.

The Sanhedrin hated His teachings. The Romans condemned him to death instead of Barabas. Accused by Jews and executed by Romans “to keep the peace”.

Said ‘jews’ being little more than Babylonians under an assumed name…

Gentiles would do good to remember Yeshua was a Jew, more Jewish than the Temple ‘priests’ of the day. He kept kosher, quoted and taught Torah not the talmud or ‘new’ testament, and the last supper was a Seder for Passover.
The ‘new’ testament is pretty much all newsletters begging for recognition and money, from the avowed Roman and first pray-for-pay, pre-tv televangelist, Paul, who spends most of his time telling people to ignore what’s taught in Scripture and do what he says instead. Most professed xtians are actually paulians 🙂

The story is actually an object lesson in Bureaucracy.
The Sanhedrin, like the later Roman Catholic Church, let themselves be corrupted by their power, and the result was, on the one hand, the creation of Christianity itself, and on the other the fragmentation of the Church of St. Peter by way of the Reformation.
These are lessons for us all. The adage “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” applies to our own Republic just as severely.
Human Nature dictates that we try every avenue to better ourselves.
Morality is there to keep us from abusing each other by way of that Nature.

The Gospels say the Jewish *leaders*, against whom Jesus preached for their hypocrisy and godlessness, kangaroo-courted Jesus then agitated the crowds, which had greeted Jesus with great fanfare just days before, into goading the cowardly Roman governor to order the crucifixion.

So. while you’re wrong on that, you’re right on this: passing a law that forbids the right to assemble *peacefully* (the Founders’ language, not mine) is anti-‘Murican.

Like we useta say: There It is.

The “power” to approve a blatantly UNconstitutional new law… because it is important to some people.

New laws can be passed after that, supporters of that travesty should sit down, think, and realize.

    JohninMd.(HELP!)

Yeshua went to the stake willingly, to carry out the Father’s prophecy. He WAS A JEW, who lived by the Torah and Kept the LAW perfectly. THAT’S why the Pharasees wanted him dead, he was being uppity, living by the LAW of Moshe and not the “Doctrines and Dogmas of men” that lined the Temple Priest’s pockets…that made Him dangerous, if enough of the people understood they didn’t need the priests to follow the Law….

A good comparison could be made to a politician who follows the Law as written and doesn’t leave office much richer than when they entered it. They’re about as rare.
