That’s not a wrap, that’s a whole hoagie with extra meat. As opposed to the Steele Report which remains an “impossible” nothing burger.

Clothing wouldn’t be all that meaningful to Jo so I’m surprised such “wardrobe malfunctions” don’t happen more often…

Jo, let the tattoos fade – that particular set isn’t becoming to the female body…

Forget fade. Replace them with something elegant and righteous.

Hmmm…. it’s too bad Jo can’t transform herself into something like a real centaur or even a Pelagornis sandersi, an extinct toothed bird with a 24-foot wingspan.

    DBD Mammaryal Day?!

To those who have been lost, but not forgotten. They should know there are those trying to restore their country to the greatness they sacrificed for.

Citizens, be worthy of the sacrifice.

Keep your hearts and minds fit for Freedom. As others have done their duty on some distant ground, do your duty here – fight for right and justice, and teach the way of our forefathers who gifted this land to their posterity. Vote as if her life depended on it.

And, if necessary, do thus unto tyrants as we have always done.

Let none say that America whimpered and slid quietly into darkness, but that we – her blood and soul – raged against the dying of the light.

A few years ago I was walking one of the little-used paths at Arlington on a sunny spring day when I passed an attractive dark-haired 20-something woman. She was sitting on a blanket next to one of the white grave markers. She had her hand on the marker and was sobbing. I will never forget that distraught woman and my inability to think of anything I could do or say to help her without intruding on a very private moment. Her grief was a reminder that it is not just the service member who makes the sacrifice but also the family.
On this Memorial Day we should all reflect on the sacrifices of the (mostly young) men and women who gave all so we can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have.
I make it a point each year to read Oliver Wendell Holmes’ Memorial Day speech of 1884 best known as ‘In Our Youth Our Hearts Were Touched With Fire.’ If anyone asks, ‘Why Memorial Day?’ Holmes’ explanation is one of the best.’ You can find the complete text at many pages on the web.
BTW, I highly recommend the film, ‘Taking Chance’ from 2009 – based on a true story – the experiences of a Marine officer as he escorts the body of Lance Corporal Chance Phelps (killed in Iraq) to his home Dubois Wyoming.

I enjoyed Taking Chance immensely. It showed the care given to our fallen, preparing them for their final journey home and the solemn duty of their escorts making sure they get home and that honors are rendered along the way.

I admit that I shed more than few tears during movie.

If so, I will gladly volunteer to help her rub them off …

The other evening I was watching the last 30 minutes of “Men in Black II” on Parmount cable channel where the format was 6 minutes of content & 5 minutes of dreck! What was particularly horrifying was an incessant ad for a series on drag queens hosted by RuPaul. Yuck to the nth power.

What is filling the content of this 24/7 availability? That which seems to play to the edges of deviancy for shock value. No wonder I prefer reading, documentaries from Curiosity, Amazon Prime, the Great Teachers and YouTube. There, if it starts going wonky, I can trashcan it!

On this day of remembrance of our fallen soldiers, Gillette reminds us what they died for. Good one, great timing.

Gillette takes its ‘Toxic Masculinity’ ad and runs with it to even more woke heights
