Could be an MGA instead, worth the work on one of those, HS friend had one he painted bright blue and we blasted all over our little town in it, drifting it sideways much of the time, but priced a nice one of those lately? 5K plaything is now 30K! Kiko gonna make a buck!

My dad (RIP) had an MGB convertible. Good clean fun although rust was always an issue. I wouldn’t mind getting one myself… hmmm….
Once upon a time in the mid-70’s, I was looking for a car and was debating between an MGB and a ’69 Eldorado ragtop…considered buying both then putting the MGB in the trunk for a spare 🙂
Ended up buying a brand new Pontiac Acadian…not the SUV…I wish I had that to do over.
I did buy a one year old Cadillac some 20 years later, second worst decision I ever made, should have leased it, or at least dumped it once the warranty ran out.
For those unfamiliar, back in the day, the Pontiac Acadian was essentially the Canadian version of the Chevy II… which evolved into the Nova (or in the case of the Pontiac, the Ventura). With the right engine, a whole lotta fun!!

To be fair, what sane male could resist those lovely bumps?
Looked at all of those with friends. We could not see space in any and then knew the drivetrain/brakes/etc. could Not take what we wanted to do. Add bigger iron of course.
Then years later, we saw a particular AC Bristol in a Chicago Sports Car Shop.

Somewhere Jack is smiling saying “That’s my boy!”
So she was getting ready to feed the kids.
Kiko’s milk, but the bonding thing is important. Jack Jr. seems to know how important that 98.6° is.
I know there ain’t no MGBGT out in that barn for resto!
Are. You. SURE?
Zar Belk!
I ain’t sure of nothing around that place.

I’ve always preferred the MG TC myself.
