First time I visited Ft. Bliss, I was invited across the border to a seafood restaurant. Food was excellent, I felt safe. Not now, not any time since then.
We had a Hispanic seafood restaurant here in Pensacola that failed horribly. “Seven Mares”.
It seems seems that “Mares” has a distinctly unappetizing meaning around here.

Had to go all the way back to Thursday for the origins of “the ride,” because I got the impression that Skye was going along – was she the ringleader of the “Moon Platoon” maybe? That could be why Tucker thought Sam was involved… two three-quarter moons and a full moon!
I ended up posting this question on today’s strip because I got waylaid by Sunday’s panel while going in both directions…
Everyone who gives a damn about the Second Amendment needs to get their state, county and/or parish to declare themselves as a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
Coordinate with like-minded people and contact each and every state representative and senator.
Constitutional Carry won’t mean shit if the Feds say you can’t own a gun. Bring the battle to the forefront. Hell… let’s go back to the NFA of 1934. “Infringe” is a perfect word and the government has been in violation of it for a very long time.
Between Xiden’s ‘ideas’ on gun control and HR 127, the end is near… one way or another.
Ain’t no NFA or GCA or for that matter ATF in the CRA.
There, the Second Amendment and all rights and responsibilities of individuals and of government, are codified in the Constitution, and it is sacrosanct.

There are a lot of feral hogs (not javelinas, but the descendants of farm hogs that escaped) down in Texas and other states. If you have a need to hunt, those hogs are just a few generations away from wild boars. Just make sure you cook the meat thoroughly.
This wacko movement started to grow back in the late 1960s – early 1970s with draft dodgers and war protesters and the environmental movement. (It originates in the 1920s.) It has ballooned into nitwits running things. These things have a “life span” (for want of a better term) and this one is now in the “dizzy with power” stage and frequently does not end well for the perps.
Stay tuned. Stock up on popcorn, cold drinks, food you like and keep score the way you would with a basketball game.
Terrifying highway though. 100 Mph Freightliners scare the shit out of you as they blow past you like you’re standing still. ALWAYS check your mirrors BEFORE changing lanes.

But the Biden voters who have been swallowing this bull are now being exposed to the fact that they have been snowed, just as the QAnon victims are catching on to their own disinformation disease.
It will be a long time, if ever, before many of these victims will catch on and they will remain crippled by their faulty models of the world and I guess we’ll just have to live with that.
Don’t have to live with it, probably *can’t* live with it for long because we won’t/can’t last long under the JoHo plan…and our demise is of course the ultimate plan of their handlers.
