“By your command”. Would that have been the original 70s BSG, or the 90s remake? I was an avid watcher of the 70s BSG. I never got into the 90s version (work, and lack of time), even though I’ve been told it was the better version. Seems to me I remember that from the 70s BSG.
The 90’s version didn’t have an Imperious Leader. The Cylons seemed to have a Committee of the Whole leadership. Well, except for the Threes, who are all boxed. And the Toasters don’t seem to have a voice in governance, either.
Yes, but….. SPOILER ALERT….. didn’t they kinda turn that around at the very very end with the time travel twist? I’m not recalling 100%, but I remember a big surprise ending….? In any event, DAYUM.
Of course it would be classic if Jo “replicated” an old-style Cylon, complete with the red scanning “eye” and sound effects just to greet the illegals.

Sensible response.

2003/2004, not 1990s for the reboot.
Ah feldercarb!! I suppose “Jo” is better than “Twiki” (biddi biddi)!!
Twiki the walking phallus? Buahah!
What does mean by replicate? Assume a new form or to attempt to reproduce?
She probably means, “assume a new form”. This would make her more like Maya, from Space:1999 or Odo from Deep Space Nine, both shape shifters.
Do Tricia Helfer and Grace Park read DBD?
Maren Jensen, Laurette Spang, and Anne Lockhart are more in line with the “By your command” response.
I prefer the slightly more obscure, “As you wish.”
{^_-}
No more rhymes, I mean it.
I would,
If I could!
Anybody want a peanut?
Inconceivable!
Captain Kirk “Engage” or Captain Jean-Luc Picard “make it So” much better !
Loved both of the series.
Although and seriously if R-1000 morphed into Tricia Helfer?
DAYUM…she was like the best evil chick ever on TV.

Mother may I?
I caught almost all of those, my dweeb count is high……
As good as the R1000 may be, I doubt anyone would mind seeing the X1000, or even the XXX1000…
In Valen’s Name
B5 is now on Amazon Prime Video. All five seasons.
I know, watching Season 2 😉
The only command that matters…
If it be Thy will.
Anyone remember the airborne tortoise: BATTLESTAR GALAPAGOS?
Boobie, you winz teh interwebz for today! That was a three groaner and a facepalm!
No, the airborne/spacebourne tortise would be Gamera.

Has anyone noticed that the grill of some cars looks like a Cylon…
KITT in ” Knight Rider” was a Cylon.
The first Transformer obviously.
Wow. So many memories. Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Star Trek: TNG, Babylon 5 — loved them all.
Hated the second version of Battlestar Galactica, just too much of a downer.
My “go to” curse words all originated in the original BG.
But my favorite quote came from B5’s Susan Ivanova: Worst case of testosterone poisoning I have ever seen.
