Hm. No guns allowed in Japan. I could see most of the family having a problem with that.

    cheers

So much going on in this strip. Where to begin? Maybe I’ll start at the end.

    “Uhh-Argentina ot the US?”
    “That’s the problem.”
Yep. Both are more alike than different at the top.

    As for moving to Japan. . . . .
Considering Zed and Sam being Zed and Sam, and Wade being Wade, and they live in Texas (even if it is near the border). . . . Nope, ain’t gonna happen.

    • February 23, 2015 at 1:43 pm

Way too crowded for those two. No guns, no space, no English ??? LEarn Japanese? Nope, not gonna happen !!!

As will probably happen in real life, Texas will tell Progressive America to take a hike and go it’s own way, taking many other southern states with them. Even Lincoln would recognize the death throws of the once great United States.

+1 Ron Paul used the “S” word (secede) in a speech last week. I don’t think we (down here in Texas) are likely to be the only ones considering it.

Secession shreds the Constitution. I think there are less-extreme measures to try first.

Wade can be very persuasive. Zed and Sam came to the ranch for a reason. Don’t tread on Texas.

Running from a problem never solves it. When infected by cancer, best to remove it as quickly as possible.

Japan’s workforce is aging faster than any globally. Birth rate is down. Xenophobia prevents bringing in many replacements. Their national debt is 233 percent of GDP. China is putting pressure on them Would not recommend Japan.

Texas has the same problem many other states have: progressive hordes in the cities overrule the conservatives in the rural areas. Since progressives control the counting of the votes, and the Dead Elephants don’t care, I’m afraid Texas ain’t goin’ anywhere.
(FWIW, I was born in Houston.)

Despite the occasional story that makes it to the headlines, I suspect they have the schools in full indoctrination mode. And then there will be the normalization of illegal immigrants which mean they or their children will be voting in 10-20 years.

        Bad Cyborg

Yup. Seen that with my grandkids. Plus here’n San Antonio they’re fighting tooth and nail to KEEP kids in public school. Lots of billboards pushing public schools. I suspect they’re targeting blacks and browns ’cause all the billboards I’ve seen were in predominantly black and/or brown areas.

        “…voting in 10-20 years.”

Drop the zeros. “They” know that overwhelming the ballot box is the only way to defend from the coming conservative apocalypse. And they know they need it now. Immigration is the final and biggest component of the “plan” and it will be -and is- a primary plank in the platform of dims and rinos alike. Don’t know if a third-rail party can zap that plan in time.

Problem is there really isn’t anywhere to flee TO! Not to hurt Kimiko’s feelings but Japan is hardly a bastion of liberty. I figure their best bet is to hunker down, bunker up and get ready to ride out the storm that’s on the horizon.

  • February 23, 2015 at 3:20 am

Subtle, and exact. Serious deep thought in those last two frames. As for the leftist hordes who have invaded the cities of Texas, I believe they can be brought down quickly.

Try to fix the USA because there’s nowhere to run.
    People run TO America.
Forget running FROM America because there’s not ANOTHER one out there.
    Yes, IT IS EXCEPTIONAL.
It is the very definition of EXCEPTIONAL.
    As to Argentina . . . you won’t like it there, it’s a pigsty, a thugocracy.
Don’t let ignorance and romanticism get in the way of knowledge.
In fact, Argentina is the very definition of thugocracy.
cmblake6, I like your avatar. Frazetta. “The Death Dealer” Nice.
And I like the solution, too.
It’s the only way to be sure.

    Japan? Been there.
People are polite and quiet. Country is clean and well run. Best McDonalds EVER!
Worst rape and sexual abuse laws in a modern country.
Any auto accident will be somewhat your fault.
Still racial profile on a over the top level.
    No “rights” to speak of.
Overall, a nice place to visit but I sure wouldn’t want to live there.

As the alarms go off and a new and extremely high radiation leak is detected at Fukushima, I do not think that an exit to Japan would be a very wise move, or even suggestion.

No… not ignored; the existence of the problem is NOT DISCUSSED in Japan.

      Collectivism is a ratcheting mechanism.
No matter how much you vote, they get you closer to the abyss, every single time.
Things as they are every election day is party time for collectivists.
There’s only one way to stop them.
      Don’t ask.

  • February 23, 2015 at 2:57 pm

What about Canada or Australia? Both of those nations have finally pulled their collective heads out of their arses and are rolling back the Progressive idiocy that has long infected them.

Australia virtually bans guns, as well. Canada rather good on rifles/shotguns. Not so much on pistols.
