Actually, the Seven Years’ War was the last war fought by monarchies using small professional armies for purely territorial gains.
The French revolutionary wars and the the Napoleonic wars that were the continuation of same were the first wars fought with massive conscript armies in pursuit of ideological goals.
They changed the entire nature of warfare in the west forever.

I thought the debate would be a sh*t show, and I was right. Our “John Gill” of a *Resident proved to me that he is without a doubt incapable of performing the duties to which he was selected.
At least John Gill came to his senses in time to avert catastrophe and name the head of the conspiracy.

I don’t feel bad for one second that the mumbling shadow of a human was humiliated for a TV audience. He’s screwed the U.S. of A, us regular folks who wear an occasional python boot, three ways to Sunday as Ibammy laughs all the way to the bank. Let him fester in his own swill.
The dems set the date, as early as possible, earlier in the election cycle than any other debate, all so they have the time to pick a replacement at the ‘convention’ and the reason to do it.
The next ‘debate’ will likely feature said replacement and be a completely different event with the ‘moderators’ debating Trump more than their new star candidate who’ll be bailed out continuously and need to be even if they already have the questions weeks beforehand like bye-then apparently did.
If Trump wins that debate and tears their new high priest(ess) a new one live onstage then his chances of making it to the election will be pretty slim, the only question then will be was it a ‘right wing domestic terrorist’ aka cia agent or arkancide.
