No matter what political or cultural life-or-death outrage has been thrown (intentionally) at us, the majority has eerily reacted as if not much of import is going on.

It essentially repealed the Smith-Mundt Act of 1946 which prohibited the government from developing propaganda targeted at U.S. Citizens and paying or coercing media outlets to run the stories.
Since that time, most of the content that has appeared in “legitimate” media sources has been government DNC propaganda.

People were taught not to question Authority, and deprived of the intellectual tools needed to ask the important questions.
