Not sure how “novel” our Sunday discussion of Kari as veep was, but as I said then, Desantis/Lake sounds pretty good right now.
I liked her responses in a previous interview on the subject of her potential as a running mate…”I am running for governor to serve and protect the citizens of Arizona”. And her top priorities? Halting immigration, completing the wall, and secure elections. Who does she admire and seek to emulate politically? Trump. Pretty solid platform for gov or veep.
DeSantis does really well…when he is backed by a super-majority Republican Legislature. Just imagine Trump’s performance with the same.(minus the RINOs).

And her response was epic. Called them out on it, where last week the press thought she wasn’t capable of being governor, and now they’re asking if she would be in the running for VP? She flat out told them she’s committed to two full terms working for the people of Arizona as their Governor.
Up here, we have a Constitutional Monarchy with the provinces joined into a Confederacy.
You’d never know it listening to liebral media though, they’re insistent we have a ‘democracy’ and in effect we do.
The sheer number of MP’s from Ontario and Quebec (usually liebral MP’s by hook or by crook) decide who forms a government, the rest of the provinces pretty much sit and watch with no real say in the matter.
That’s what the dems want for the US, the larger (and reliably democrat) states like california and new york and a couple of others making decisions for the other 40-odd with no arguments.
That’s how nations fracture and when a few decide to proclaim the fate of the many and disparage them for not wanting to be told what to do, then that fracture can widen pretty fast.
I would say it is time to show American Citizens how much is spent out of our taxes for every single invader. But… “While 2020 was an unusual year due to expanded government support through the tax code to combat the pandemic’s economic effects and due to lower household incomes, it continues an ongoing trend of fewer households paying income tax due to long-running expansions in the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). TPC finds that in 2020, out of 176.2 million individuals and married couples who could file a tax return, about 144.5 million of them actually filed a tax return. Of the 144.5 million, 75.1 million filers paid no taxes after deductions and credits. Another 32 million households did not file a tax return. In total, about 107 million Americans (or 60.6 percent of households) paid no federal income taxes.” https://taxfoundation.org/us-households-paying-no-income-tax/

Goat grease apparently.
This is Texas… it would be bacon grease.

Who are these people? Waiting for the bus to Chicago?
So ……… I float the novel Kari Lake for VP idea here at DBD earlier this week, and yesterday she’s asked by the “press” about it.. Cool.
Is the salad undressing?
No, you’re thinking of Honeymoon Salad: Lettuce alone, no dressing!
Zar Belk!
I was thinking Marjorie Taylor Green. Kind of like Kamala being assianation insurance, but for a different reason. Kind of…

They’re just trying to set her up for a fall and she knows it. She can play them a bit but them slap them down sticking to her Arizona First platform.
Nothing creates interest more than disinterest.
The Dems say “our democracy” because if they said “our socialism” it might clue in too many of the low information voters that have no clue.
Their ‘democracy’ is their Tyranny for the rest of us. They’re trying to kill our Constitutional Republic.

No no, see, that is just gov money…
Is that why they want to go to digital money? Cheaper to add zeros than all that high-speed printing.
