My wife is found of saying that boys are harder when they’re small, and girls are harder when they’re teens. Lucky us, she cheerfully points out; for one golden year we had two small boys and three teen girls in the house, all at once. (Somehow we all survived.)
Right now we’re in Jerusalem for the year. We’re glad the rockets are no longer flying… for now. And I’m reminded of an old popular Israeli song’s refrain: “we survived Pharaoh. We’ll survive this too.”
Most males wander around with at least a partial oxygen deficit to the cranium between the ages of, oh, 13 to 25. Many never outgrow it, and for some, it is unfortunately, terminal. See Darwin Award.
Hard physical labor and intense exercise are effective, temporary, antidotes. As DogByte6RER and others have pointed out on theses pages, in extreme cases, the sound of 12-gauge shotgun being racked can provide immediate relief.
Which is maybe why military training has been effective at civilizing men throughout the centuries. Training is complete when the sound of a safety clicking off, round chambered, or shots fired causes the heart rate to DROP and breathing to SLOW. Never pass up an opportunity to underreact.
Mari and Kiko, your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to NOT make the oxygen deficits worse unless and until you are prepared to provide frequent and thorough relief to the sole and permanent object of your affection. See Lucky Stiff.
My Dad’s Dad had all his boys use a manual post hole digger for fencing and they had to lift hay bails by pulling on a rope. Good way to keep them from plowing fields they shouldn’t.

OOOHHHH. !
There at the RRR they gots lotsa Rods…for now.
There’s Rob (as in robbing innocence), Randy (his name says it all), and Richard (he’s a real Dick).
Hope they survive the girls and the aftermath…
As my late Wife often noted, “So glad we had boys”. Not that they didn’t have theirown special growing pains……
We still wait for Holy Tera, and another donation season is coming up…
The melt downs are just starting.
Teenagers; There is not enough cold water flooding to cool them.
If you can’t Scram the reactors … then tell the horny teenaged boys to SCRAM!
To emphasize the point try racking a Remington 870 shotgun … those horn dogs will scram faster than dropping all the rods at once …
However, there may be one of them. Who says, can we talk, sir. Him, you might want for a son-in-law. If he can cool his jets.

Stay safe Daniel and watch your six.
Not all women who are unhappy are feminists, but all women who become feminists remain unhappy.
Keep the girls away from the toxins of feminism and they should be just fine.

Civilization depends upon your success.

Some thoughts for today. Laugh if you’ve got them.

Who knows what goes through the minds of 16 year old girls? Only, the Lord, and he is amazed.
Just be glad he’s not Jake. From State Farm.
So, frame 2 yesterday and frame 1 today, it looks like Kiko got the endowment and Mari got the leftovers?
