Reading the comments and re-reading the strip, i now think the emphasis is on “KNOW Kiko is your granddaughter” (and not presidential material)…unlike Navy “Biden”.
Typical BS. The med staff that I have encountered busted their a** for the patient. When my late wife was in (cancer, advanced), I got “seminars” about the disease and the experimental therapy. When a son was in (cardiac) or a friend (implant) the patients and I were well attended to. The medicos don’t care who owns the building or the parking structure. Maybe some of the “front office” people do, but “on the floor”, only the patient mattered.
Maybe it was me. I had experience of several decades in academic medical researc labs (no patient care), was familiar wit the lingo, and spoke in complete sentences, but the staff was always there. Maybe the skills would have been better than with local yokels, but owning the physical plant would not have changed that. A fat wallet didn’t matter “on the floor”. There might have been some advantage with newer, and more expensive, therapies but, for the most part, the staff don’t care. They wanted a patient as healthy as possible when they went home. Never confuse the paper shufflers with the medicos. The ability of the patient and their family to speak a higher level English might help at the margins.

If by that we are referencing non-English speakers aka immigrants and all our other welfare sheep, then that right there is where the “front office people”, owning the plant and paying the bills comes in. The damn medical system is so screwed up you can’t tell who is paying how much for what, who is paying nothing at all, and who pays for those that don’t. If for instance the illegal thug in the toon gets advanced care at no cost to him, the cost is still the cost and has to be paid. How and by whom is the role of the non-floor people.

3 When they regurgitated their brainwashing that “antibiotics are ineffective against viruses” when antibiotics with an azide group, such as Azithromycin, are among the most powerful antivirals known,
4) And, when they tried to deliver that spew to someone who had spent much of his adult life traveling the world writing checks in the amount of “up to and including my life” to keep the crazies of the world from getting their hands on weapons of mass destruction including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear, then they are nothing more than hacks and hucksters hiding behind lab coats and stethoscopes.
It takes me less than 30 seconds to determine if a “medical professional” is worth my time, or worth even considering trusting with my health.
Most fail the test and end up in red-faced embarrassment or tears. A couple of the more pompous have gotten violently angry only to suddenly realize that I am more than capable of ending their livelihood or their life, barehanded and instantly.

It’s the other way around up here because any Dr that speaks English went to the US because they got tired of rationing care out and asking patients if they want to be euthanised instead of treated (that’s official gov’t policy now btw). That and they make more money for fewer hours and gert to do medicine instead of paperwork.
It’s virtually impossible to understand any physician anymore, that’s not their fault but it makes for a lot of mistakes when people are too polite(or afraid of being called some sort of -ist) to say “I don’t understand what you just said” and then have bad results because the treatment plan was unclear. ‘Dr error’ is the third leading cause of death here, soon to become fourth once the gov’t-mandated euthanasia program becomes compulsory, getting their medical degree from a country where ‘witchcraft’ is a valid diagnosis doesn’t help either and the push is on to stop making prospective Dr’s pass medical exams here for certification and just accept whatever papers they can show up with as proof, even if the ink on the badly spelled words is still wet…
