I am with it. An agency that I hope will soon disappear.

As Mike Waltz says, “think like a Green Beret.” Work yourself out of a job. Patel knows, and said so, that ATF has been used to persecute gun owners.

ATF shouldn’t be an agency. It should be the name of a convenience store.

Speaking of a convenience store, there was a place in Crescent Oregon called Ken’s Sporting Goods. It had Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (and ammo) and Tannerite.

Got taken out by a big rig on winter when they hit Black Ice heading south on 97

This may be a move to get the Senate off it’s ass and confirm Herrera, just to get Patel out of the ATF Director’s seat.

I’ve always thought that the interims should be somebody that Congress wants relief from.

It’s a pity the establishment rino’s in the party couldn’t bear seeing him as the candidate for Congress and had to rig the nomination…barely succeeding at that by only 200 or so ‘found’ votes. Here’s hoping the twat they did run ends up in a funding investigation just around primary time. It was all about his youtube channel supposedly giving the lefties ‘ammunition’ against him when that should have proven that he doesn’t screw around when it comes to an issue and that’s what the people want, instead of quislings who see a seat in Congress as an ATM and you won’t hear from until the next time they need re-elected…the first thing they take away when you drink the kool-aid is your sense of humour and that’s the second last thing I’m going to give them.

The arrogance of the coastal elite remains a sad testament. Everything they did was contrary to the patriotic actions of the majority of us who only want to keep our families safe and free. They should fade away.

    Who shall we blame?
Biden, the straw that broke the camel’s back?
Obama, who did his damndest to engineer the fall of the Republic he so despised?
The “Republicans” who joined the “Democrats” to loot the Nation?
LBJ and FDR for undermining the Constitution with giveaway programs?
Or do we blame Woodrow Wilson for building the foundation of it all by establishing the BureauFascist State that made their predations possible?
Or perhaps we should blame ourselves for being the fools who believed Jean-Jacques Rousseau was a Prophet for declaring that we could have Heaven On Earth if only we made Government our God?

Answer: All of the above. Now it is time to repent, atone, rebuild and proceed according to the Principles and Precepts of the Constitution — as written and as explained in the Federalist Papers . . .

The ATF is nothing but a Terrorist

I am not for Herrera anywhere near government. He seems like a self promoter and I don’t trust him. I also believe the ATF is necessary IF they are used for the purpose they were created. Go after the gangs and the stolen guns. Go after the straw purchasers. Disarm the violent felons.

The FBI and Treasury took down most of the Mafia long before ATF was created. I see zero reasons for ATF to continue existing.

If you don’t promote yourself then nobody’s going to do it for you…unless you pay them to. Herrera started out as a gunsmith then a ayoutube personality, he entertains and makes very valid comments on things, he also ran for Congress and almost won, does that mean that everyone that does so is a ‘self promoter’ ?
I’d take a ‘self promoter’ like him over something like murkowski or collins any day.

I was reading an article that suggested Musk’s ‘e-mail order’ is intended to see how many ‘workers’ actually respond to it. It seems that there’s a huge number of gov’t drones who have never, ever used their e-mail account…if that doesn’t suggest a make believe employee someone is collecting the pay for then I’m not sure what does. When I was a federal employee, I got dozen’s of e-mails a day all requiring ‘immediate attention’ that I generally waited for the phone call before actioning to see if they were that important to anyone, or to confirm I had done some completely unnecessary ‘online training’ that the Dept Head’s bonus depended on everyone completing. I wasn’t in an executive position so how anyone gets away with never answering anything for years on end is …questionable.

ATF was formed when prohibition was repealed, primarily because J. Edgar Crossdresser didn’t want the Volstead Act enforcers incorporated into the Feeble Bungling Idiots. Those guys were too corrupt even for him to stomach! Thery gradually evolved from their original duties as booze tax collectors to the metastasizing cancer they have become in the past few decades.

For another thing, ATF weren’t “law enforcement.” They were “tax collection agents” and nothing else — snd Homer Cummings was quite specific on that point He had to be to shoehorn NFA through. And that ass-covering distinction was perpetuated until our RINO pal Bush made them law enforcement with a single stroke of his compassionate conservative pen.
