That bright flash of their spun to death arguments disappearing in a puff of logic is getting so bright lately you have to wear shades. I can hardly wait for the big bang when they violently explode against each other then all end up in cells.
Not so much pre-planned as inevitable I think.
There’s only so much cognitive dissonance that can be crammed into a skull before something breaks.
The only thing holding the Progressives together is their dedication to goals, no matter how insane or self-contradictory, over systems.
At some point this will either corrosively dissolve like the Soviet Union or reach critical mass and rip itself apart in a flash of mindless violence only to then putrefy into a toxic pool of impotent individual egos.
Either way they’ll do a lot more damage before they go the way of the Dodo.
I’ve run into my fair share of them myself. And to a person, whenever I ask then to explain just exactly what Trump has done that has negatively effected them I get either a ‘deer in the headlights’ look, or the basic “everybody know it”, or “he’s a convicted felon” type answer.
If I point out that’s not what I asked, they sometimes get agitated/irritated and begin to rant about how he’s “destroying democracy” and “deporting innocent people”…..the usual BS talking points spewed by the media.
If I continue to counter their arguments by simply asking for factual examples of what they’re claiming, they start getting really wound up and shrill.
Fortunately, even at my age (75) I’m still physically imposing enough that they don’t try to take any physical action and usually just give me the “You’re just brainwashed” or You just don’t get it” etc, and walk away.
This is something at times I have a really hard time wrapping my head around how people who have never actually been harmed in any way by anything Trump has done….either in his first administration or this one, can be so completely consumed with hatred for the man!!
Careful Sam, in Texas, discharge of a firearm on or across a road is a First Degree or Class A Misdemeanor. However, perforating that “sign” is arguably NOT Destruction of Public Property.
