Wait – Sam,Jan, and Naomi are ALL “in a family way?” (as my Victorian era grandmother used to say) I guess I haven’t been keeping up… Reading “Time after Time” along with this strip threw me way off-kilter trying to follow all the different timelines involved. …and some of the ‘art work’ in both strips distracted me badly…
Sam chowing down on the ribs. Somehow it doesn’t look like she’s doing it right, sauce isn’t all over her face and fingers. The red of her face should match the red of her hair.
C’mon Chris. So much better Texas Beer out there these days than the swill they are passing off as Shiner Bock now. It’s a great homage to see it in your strip and remind us of the days when it was the only beer that wasn’t blonde, but it’s nothing like sitting at the Posse East and drinking REAL Shiner Bock for $1 a pitcher. Hmmmmm the hint of molasses. I miss it greatly. Zed and crew have so much more to pick from these days. I’ll have a BBBC La Fronteria, please. Hope to see you at the chili cook offs in Terlingua at the end of October first of November.
Anerucan beer nowadays tastes like feet. I gave up a loooooong time ago. Went to Fosters Lager (not a real beer) and that didn’t work, either-wimpy, wimpy, wimpy. Finally settled on Sam Adams and some local small brewery craft beers. And Guinness Stout – the blonde in a dark skirt. There’s a place near my abode that brews its own brews and serves good food, too. I think I’ll stick to the simpler local stuff. Patronize the real craftsmen and women.

I recall a Ziggenbock when I lived in Mineral Well that I liked better than Shiner. Only available in Texas.
Any if it beats Lion Lager or San Miguel.
Hmm another season of growing tummies and swollen mams. Hmmm.

All else fails, brew your own. My Grand Dad made his own whiskey and Grand Ma brewed ale.
In a nod to future events, we need a Baby Naming Contest. Submit all that you like but “Mohammad” is off the effing table.

Baby Names. Twins again?
Baby names? For boys how about Smith & Wesson?
With apologies… 😉
I was thinking Zed and Sam’s new one, if a boy, should be “Wade”, after his granddad.
