ROFLOL. That’s funny.
As for re-naming R200 for Mueller, I would consider that an insult to all the hard working men and women that assembled R200. Name him, “George”. As in, “Curious” (but don’t tell him that. let him think that it’s after “Washington”, or “Patton”, or “Carver”)
Then I recall Dr Daystrom on Star Trek imprinting his own flawed engrams on the positronic brain. And Skynet which takes command of itseld and its actions. Then the Cylons on Battlestar Gallactic, as well as others through science fiction.
The garbage in, garbage out principle wll predominate.
What is that spark we obtained that makes us human and autonomous(mainly) decision making mobile units? Is it God given?
Why should a mechanical decision tree ever correct its mistakes?
Will demons exist in the machines finding them a host.
What is that cocktail that composes sentient thought.
Will the developed military kill robots become self actuating and decide to play the death knell for society and humanity?
Or will they eat us for fuel, or grow use for food and electricity?
Will we lose control of the potential monsters we are creating?
Is iRobot in our future as well as our literature?
Is it the end of Science Fiction, and the beginning of Horror Science Fact?
Do we have a clue about the dangers that we are creating.
(E)Inquiring minds want to know.
I have a thought! (yes, it hurt). There has to be a character in the “I, Robot” stories (Isaac Asimov) (besides Dr Susan Calvin. Not going to change R200’s gender) that R200 can be named after.

And it’s past time for my bed, so I can get up and have my wake up covfefe in the oh-dark-too-damned-early morning.
George, but from the radio show in the 40s and 50s, “Let George Do It.”
Waste of a perfectly good expresso… lol
Yeah, George.
How about Maxine ,as in Maxine “T Won’t STFU” Waters ? She’s always spewing forth and about as sharp as a sack full of wet mice……
Call him Ahn-old. Ahn-,old Mueller…..
I think the original has made his name stink on ice. But some of his portrayals are still honorable.
How about John (Matrix, from Commando).
Or Dutch (from the original Predator, before the series got stupid).
Probably best of all, Harry (Tasker, from True Lies, probably his best film overall).
“Harry” probably wins, because like Tasker, R-200 isn’t exactly what he seems to be to the uninitiated.
cheers
eon
I would call him Uncle Bob, but I think that’s taken.
Heh, thats actually my nickname tho Mr. Muir says it sounds like a Pedo! 🙁
Bob’s your uncle!
How about…TOASTER!
“Dues Ex Machina” for the win! Duesie for short.
Spin
“A rose by any other name…”

Ghost in the Shell…
Always been partial to Robbie
Sorry Pamela, too too overused, and trite. In my NSHO.

If the name Mueller reflects his nature, the best thing to call him is the best thing to make him; scrap metal.
