This is one of our many battlefields. These people are well financed and persistent and they believe that they have the moral high ground and that they are on the correct side of history. They are not.
They are the real nothing. What they say are many nothing burgers backed up by the arrogance of self righteousness and that they believe their own gaslighting. And they gaslight about so much. We are approaching the point where everything the normies believe is true is actually untrue. John Foster Dulles has possibly achieved a goal that he once set. Not one about JFK… Well maybe a few there.

If it’s fiat paper, nah, that’s a hard pass.

But if by “hard US currency” you mean silver, gold and platinum, then I’m all for it. But I’m doubting that any one person or agency has a BILLION in specie. And it’d be difficult to move, as well. Think of the weight and volume.
What? You think I’d leave it in place with a promissory note? Oh, HELL no!

Weight, about that of a small car at 3100 lbs. avoirdupois. Size, I dunno, a bank gold bar weighs 28 lbs and is 2x4x11, you figure it out.

Close enough for gov work there Paul…

Or would gov work in this case mean the weight and dimensions are zero?

But, if BW is dedicated to his $1B, not to hard to hide 2ft cube.

I thought Trump visited all the Repositories when he was President. That he went inside, looked around and came out looking pissed off.

EM is so different but is in a league with DT.

I like not being able to grok the end game sometimes when I trust the convictions of the actor. Sounds trite anymore, but, 4d chess, another plane, etc. is a real thing for some.

Katie Hobbs told various County officials that they would get jail time if they did not certify the election. On what charges? OTOH, do they even need charges to lock you up any more?

ARS requires the board of supervisors to canvass the ballots by a certain date. It does not require them to canvass AND APPROVE those ballots by a certain date. Hobbs lied that it did and got a judge to issue such an order.

It makes no logical sense. If the ballots MUST and CAN ONLY be approved by a given date, and nothing else, you don’t need to make it a person’s job to do this, you can just use a calendar. That’s not what ARS does. And there will be a suit over this. This judge committed a class 5 felony (16-1004).

To be fair, no-one has trusted government (writ large) for decades. The sad part is government has now metastasized and poisoned the scientific and medical fields…

Tally sticks were used ‘well’ by Great Britain for 726 tears or so until 1694. Then the privately owned Bank pf England was created. Think money from nothing.
It began loaning out several more times than it had received. The irst loan was 1,2000,000 pounds to the government.
The government debt went from 1 1/4 Million pounds in 1694 to 16 Million pounds .
Mid 1700’s government debt to the Bank of England was 140,000,000 pounds.
    My. Quite an increase.

In 1834 the stockpile of then defunct valueless tally sticks was used to burn down the houses of Parliament.
Tally sticks have been described by Pliny the Elder(AD 23-79) and by Marco Polo (1254-1324). The Ishango Bone tally was from the Upper Paleolithic.
The colonies began issuing “Colonial Script.” It worked well. It was debt free and did not bear interest.
It is a central and world currency, until it isn’t.
Government is nothing until people act morally and correctly. So I say.

Tally sticks have been used to remember a count for a long time.

I cannot deny that Harry Belafonte, a proud and active supporter of Communism and communists, was a talent at music. Harry was good friends with Hugo Chavez and other world and US communists. Harry Belafonte was a friend of the US Democrats. Harry Belafonte was a welcome and often invited guest of Democrats in the USA.

Bananas is capital. Tally sticks can be used to count that capital and then pay the worker who still wants to go home, such tally stick representation of the worker’s labor can be exchanged for fiat or silver, depending.

Bananas are a tally of an asset.
The Bank of England and UK tally sticks counted the debt “asset” of mortgages and money owed.
Tally stick represents a banana or any asset accepted by both parties. Bananas and tally sticks – no different flesh in the world of the mind.

Bananas…their ephemeral nature makes them less of an asset and more of a measure of trade. But what a very valuable and effective measure when a man is hungry; he can’t eat his fiat or his silver and so would gladly part with large amounts of both for a stalk of those sweet precious bananas, tally up!
