First, everyone have a nice Thanksgiving.
Second, there are cracks and splits already opening in the democrat party (poopers) and let us hope this continues to spread. (Pun intended)
Third, Good night and happy Thanksgiving, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are.
Just so one can appreciate Sam’s “achievement”: If it’s up in proximity to the ISS it’s 264 miles high, going a bit over 17,000 mph. Have to say in my time in the woods I’ve never seen a turkey move THAT fast. Happy Thanksgiving all.
Too bad it would be freeze-dried by the time it drifted to the station door … and it’s too bad that the people on the scene cannot get the reality through to the honchos on the other end of the radio. All too common, that.
I read this at our Thanksgiving table every year. Just thought I’d share:
Reasons for Thanksgiving
Family, books, a good job, any job, true friends, mountains, beaches, computers, leisure time, champagne, thunderstorms, movies, hearth and home, sunsets, snow, music, naps, new shoes, a good joke, desire, sports, chocolate, rushing rivers, silence, serenity, a warm fire, good health, wisdom, vacation, sunshine, flowers, grace, savings, dancing, magical moments, gardens, fast cars, religion, long talks, adventure, pets, food on the table, giggles, starlight, babies, holding hands, life, hope, love.
Happy Thanksgiving! Especially to the members of our armed forces who are away from home today serving our country across the globe.
PS the last couple of years I’ve added DJT to the list!

Starman is still out there somewhere in Musk’s red Tesla. I wonder if he’ll get freshly singed turkey for Thanksgiving?
He’s out someplace around Mars orbit.
And this one seems to have quite a lot more power under its wings…Sam must have fiddled with the oil a bit.

I must say, excellent T’day lead in. Still “double facepalm” level, but excellent nonetheless.
Sam, turkey, space flight…it never gets old.
As a turkey chef, Sam is an excellent engineer.
Looks like Sam and family may have to go “FA-RA-RA-RA-RAAAH, RAH-RAH-RAH-RAAAAAAH!” Peking duck.
Man. What is with those eyes? Creepy.
Blue does that.

Velocity will likely be less than that. An intention of straight up and down should have the station going past a considerable velocity.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Deplorables out there! Me thinks we’re winning, and I’ll never, never, never… get tired of that.
This is one of the funniest threads I’ve ever seen you do. Thanks for the light touch ! Happy T-Day
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and may God bless.
From the looks of it, that astronaut should take it aboard and share a turkey with his fellow astronauts
Between Sam’s turkeys and Ed Crankshaft’s BBQ, maybe there IS something to Man-made Global Warming…Naaahhh
Happy Thanksgiving, Chris, and all DBD Fans!
Zar Belk!
M.D. don’t forget Tim Taylor using LOX to quick start his charcoal. Put the grill into suborbital.
Sam needs to, at the least, break out the PB and J sammiches to hold everyone (especially the children) over they can get to the Chinese restaurant.
BTW, what type of engineering degree does Sam have? Civil? Mechanical? Electrical? Electronics?
Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
May all the best come to all of us.
Memories…

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
(This is my favorite holiday as everyone–regardless of which religion he or she follows–can join in.)

Back porch thermometer 12°F.
Too much global warming again.
Happy Thanksgiving!
To one and all, may all know and remember the Freedom this Day represents.
Amen.
Can Jo cook?
Depends on what you mean by “cook” 😀
