Yes, my position exactly. I never had any doubts Naomi could hold her own. I just thought her opponent should lose at least as much clothing in the battle as she did…
In general, I don’t want the demise of libtards. I just want them to gain some wisdom. Naomi is certainly capable of teaching lessons without killing or maiming.

Too Tall
Not a chance.
The true professionals don’t play. Nobody “tries” anybody. Because the response starts at “lethal” and escalates from there.
The mindset is:
Belts AND suspenders
Aces, straights, and sure things
Leave nothing to chance
Have backups to the backups for the backups
Make the training and rehearsal so damnably difficult and filled with as much sweat and pain as possible so that the actual operation is as simple, easy, and bloodless as possible.
This business is cold and unemotional. In the real world there would be at least one dead body in that barn.
Even in a planned operation with Rules of Engagement (ROE) that stated “Flex Cuff and leave any survivors,” the torque setting would be above “Gangrene,” just to make certain that it is at least four hours before any of them get free.
If Travis and Quan knew each other professionally in the past, there is a process for how they would communicate and identify/verify each other upon making contact, even incidental contact. This wasn’t it.
Quan is poorly trained, undisciplined, inexperienced, and incompetent. The only reason that she would not be permanently unemployed in the real world, is that she would already have achieved room temperature (which is still higher than the best IQ score she ever achieved).
“Let no man’s ghost say that he died because he was not properly trained.”
Holy plot twists from left field Batman, the Fed is looking for the man who tickles the ivories. Though, it still would have been great if Naomi pants her. Lately the FBI has been showing just what big time asses they are anyway.
And I believe that Zed would tell ‘old Suzy Q that that dog don’t hunt if she tries to confiscate Travis. And Skye might go apeshit (That might get us the cat fight we all want, need and deserve. I’ll buy the popcorn.).

P.S. Does anybody else think that Travis looks like Aaron from Gas Monkey?
Implies that she knew that she was playing with fire and that she was willing to risk death or disability to satisfy mere curiosity. Further implies that she suffers from a serious lack of good judgement. Another possibility is that she failed to consider just how badly things could have gone. Also poor judgement.
It has been my experience that those that suffer from a lack of good judgement in one facet of their life, and who don’t go through an epiphany and its associated repentance, tend to make more poor judgements as time goes by. Life and the school of ‘hard knocks’ insist that judgement lessons are learned. Pray that she takes her future lessons from a tutor where the failure penalty is not so dear.
This is typically the role of parents. Hard lessons taught with a soft mat to land on, lie upon and contemplate the ceiling (and the nature of life.)
That Travis is still roaming free is possibly another sign of serious lack of good judgement on Suzy Q’s part. Or is he? Who knows what the past shall bring into the future.
Ok, I confess that I was taken in. But I remember that I DID at least have reservations about the idea that a shapely agent could be “on the wrong side of the bad” in this strip. “Aw well,” I thought. But instead, the old adage “figures never lie” (in one sense anyway) apparently still applied in this case.
Retired…….yeah. There are some pursuits that adrenaline addicts have trouble retiring from. The hunting of armed bad men is one such calling. “…..merely between forays…..” I like how you term that.
That’s how I felt about Uncle Sam Ain’t Released Me Yet, when I retired after 20. It’s been another 20 since I retired, and I still miss “the life”.

Too Tall
I still stop to watch aircraft take off and land, ships get underway and return to port, and military vehicles in operation. A whiff of jet fuel, DFM, hydraulic fluid, tritonal, RDX, or smokeless powder still turns my head. It gets in your DNA.

Let me get this straight… Suzy Q?
Bwahahahaha!!
I thought the same. The only way this could get any better is if Chris were to work in a line from Frank Zappa’s “Suzy Creamcheese”.
“Just 13 and knows how to nasty”
CCR lives on!
They stole it from Dale Hawkins, who released the original ca. 1957. To their credit, the remake was as good, in it’s own way, as the first edition.
Could be a nickname if they had worked together quite a bit.
Once again – didn’t see that coming! 🙁
Joint lock. Called it.
“Suzy! How ya been?”
As pistols are reholstered, patrons are reseated, drinks are refreshed, attitudes are relaxed.
So……still looking for Agent Smith. Is it safe to check the trunk of the car??
Travis has been there even before I had figured.
Well done, Travis.
Deplorable B Woodman, Suzy Creamcheese was also an R. Crumb character. Don’t know if her or Zappa gets credit for her.
He or Zappa…it’s to late at night to be typing with out coffee,
Okay, there’s a twist. Mind you, Travis WAS something else in the past.
And as the last panel hit, an old CCR 45 dropped onto the turntable and John Fogerty began growling, “Ah, Suzie Q, you know I love you, Suzie Q….”
Yeah, I’m old. So sue me….
DAB > “….So sue me …. and get off my lawn!
Billy Joel? Elton John? Leon Russell? Keith? Herbie? Rubenstein?
So… for those who were calling for Naomi to maim or kill Suzy, would you care to reconsider your position now?
Well, some of us never wanted Naomi to kill or maim her, just remove a few more articles of her clothing in the struggle.
🙂

Saving the ripped blouse and snapped bra strap for another day, huh Chris? Anticipation! Damn the anticipation!

“Try your famous babe bodyguard!” – Suzy

Nailed It!
cfm56dash7 is the one who nailed it. I have not mastered this Reply thingy yet.
C-135 experience?
So….. Frank Zappa’s ‘Dyna-Moe Hum” would be completely inappropriate.
The ball has taken a nice, yet unpredictable bounce into Travis and his undercover biker gig.

So Suzy has a thing for a sharped dressed man?
Every girl’s crazy ’bout a sharp dressed man.
One more, Billy Joel. You know the tune…
Well, if Suzys butt w/o pants matches her butt w/pants I’d give………..gah! my tongues so hard I can’t type
Oh JAK! Lord have mercy. I have a picture in my head that’s stuck.
She said she is here for the piano man, but not why. Twists abound.
Old Western movie line, don’t shoot the piano player.
I thought Travis was retired. Or is he merely between forays…
I say Suzy Q was derelict in not capturing his continuing presence earlier. Or has she?
Paternity suit comming…

“Merely between forays….” That is so stolen. Much better than “Once in, never out.”
It’s reminds me of someone saying “You’re not just in the Navy”.
