Having been born before WWII, I’ve had enough time to see a real change in humanity because of this divide-by-zero communication progress.
This site is a perfect example: People from all over can communicate with each other… passing on news, ideas, and so on. <– This was impossible for the first half of my life.
Now it is so common, someone could look up a synonym for "epic" in seconds.
It is now classically going on for me: I do not wear a watch nor carry a phone. <– This USED to be normal, Grasshoppers.
A bit junior to you but remember having a Dial phone, being left to nature alone, and having the instruction to “call if you are not going to be home for dinner” (or dark, with the assumption dinner was probably being missed anyway).
How on earth did we survive!?!
All we need to do is start in congress before expanding. Put a pallet of cash in a room. Lots of well hidden cameras/mikes.
Upon anyone walking out with some cash, instant incarceration until there is a plane load to Gitmo. In deference to bleeding hearts, I didn’t call for flooding the now locked room with Halon.
Two demohorroids, a pulley, and a rope just long enough that only one of them can touch the floor. Watch them try to climb each other for a few minutes!
