I love our planet and our country. Just because we have a bunch of ignorant (choose to be) people running things right now, does not mean we give up and let it completely derail. Amazingly I have 2 daughters 24, 26 years old. And they both carry pretty conservative views. I hope they can pull many others with them as they age. I know that people have told me that my views have rubbed off on them in a positive way. Each one of us has the ability to change a few. It’s true in Govt. and religious beliefs. That’s how this works. Stay positive! Drink coffee! Arm up just in case! Then hope your loving views can help change the ignorant! The Bible says the Lord will not give us a burden we cannot bare. So let’s strap on the packs and move some people.
OT, but as a soundtrack for red-blooded rednecks like me it’d be hard to beat the songs of Toby Keith, who died of cancer yesterday.
While I loved some of the old country I was never hugely into it as I have always been an old rock kind of guy. But stuff like old George Jones has that twang and heart-tug that is hard not to like. And that is the niche that Toby filled with songs like I Ain’t As Good As I Once Was, Beer For My Horses (with Willie, ptui), lots of drinking songs and heartbreak songs and some great patriotic songs too.
One of those was the goofy Red Solo Cup, written by my son-in-law’s former Tampa bandmates The Warren Brothers as a joke on a napkin (they wrote tons of big hits for Tim McGraw etc) and they got a cameo on the music video…that’s Brad in the background of this promo pic…
For anyone serious about seeing the return of the Constitution, one of the first things to be done is to repeal the Act of 1871, whereby our government was transformed into a corporation. All the powers they currently employ that are not listed in the Constitution are done under the authority of the corporation.
