Sotomayor has also been on the correct side of a couple of cases, although I’m willing to bet it was physically painful for her.
Kagen is probably more of an ideologue than either of them, and her own brand of stupid. Outside of their extremely narrow band of competence, they probably don’t have 5 active brain cells between them.

They weren’t appointed soly based on their race and gender, that was just window dressing to make the sale. They were appointed because they don’t have the brains to see what the ‘opinions’ they were handed by the ‘bama squad to pass off as their own really mean. We’ve just seen what happens when they try to write something themselves and it wasn’t pretty…or legible…and these are the ‘best legal minds in the world’ ?
