Which brings us to the most ridiculous swear word (phrase) ever: “F**k You!” It makes 0% sense as a curse, unless the You in question is hot and available, and then it becomes a suggestion… ; )
It makes more sense when you realize it’s German, and it originally meant “to strike”. As by lightning, for instance.
Pious Lutherans back in the 17th century used it to avoid taking the Lord’s name in vain. Basically, it was a way of asking G-d to strike the offending ass dead without using His name.
You can thank the English for making it sexual. The traditional English term “bloody” meant the same thing.
Interestingly, until quite recently you could say “f**k” on the BBC, but “b****y” was still not allowed.
Today you can say just about anything you like on the Beeb- except insulting Allah or Mohammed. And Islamic “consultants” get to decide what constitutes either of those.

“Oh, it’s a an almost purely phonetically driven curse word. In the past it would actually have some actual bite to its meaning in a phrase like “You pig fu(king whore!”, or some such, but in time its independent power is driven by what a BRUTAL, cutting sound it has. By comparison, The British word “bugger” means the same thing as “fu(k” but, phonetically, sounds like baby talk.
Hilarious…Venezuela is “on fire” with protests according to the NYT, due to the recent re-election of Madura. And NYT is goading them to do an “insurrection”. How damn funny is that?
Practice run for November 6th…
After all, Nov 5th IS Guy Fawkes Day.
“Remember, remember, the 5th of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot…” sounds like a good headline for the 6th, and probably the rest of the month.
Except this time the gunpowder won’t be part of the plot but the response to it.
Nor the treason, just the plot. Not so sure about the gunpowder. So be it.
The irony? That their beloved Chavez drew the map and built the “parallel” legislature and ultimately the system of socialism that worked for them, for a while. The Constitutional Republic of America will be a parallel system of governance, and if that means war? Keep that gunpowder dry.

The Gunpowder plot, from the POV of the perpetrators, was basically a very late act of avenging Mary Stewart’s murder. “By murdering her SON???”, you might ask. Well, as far as they were concerned, he was already “dead”, James had been kidnapped from his mother, & systematically brainwashed by Elizabeth’s goons until his soul was “dead” (as in doomed to damnation for being put out of communion with the Pope). By killing him, they would paradoxically avenge the good man he WOULD have been, had he been raised by his mother as he rightfully should have been.

Will the MSM dare call the Venezuelan protesters “election deniers” and demand their arrest, like they did with us? Twilight Zone, man. Still.

Like every other post-modern philosophy, it’s all about having somebody they can hate and feel good about themselves for doing it.

My late wife, when seriously offended and 3 sheeted, would proclaim “UN-f*** them! UN-f*** them all!”

Freedom Fighters man!
Last drop in the bucket just dropped . . .
To be an election denier, depends on who is denying the election.
